Mr Sinister question

Like many of you, I will be getting a 7-star Mr Sinister soon, but don’t have the inclination to spend $350 to dupe him. So, my question is whether it’s better to Rank 5, ascend and max sig a 6-star Mr Sinister instead?

I'd say r5a unless your main focus is BG.

I'll be using my r5a more than my future r3

Correct me if im wrong but I think it depends on if you want him for BG and/or Questing.

Im not sure his awakening ability does much on BG? I thought you have to defeat certain class champions to gain the passives.

I may be misinterpreting the sig ability tho.

The dup gives him 2 random at the start of the fight if he gets 1 or 2 mystic as a defender you are done

Mystic and cosmic are the ones you want to max out ASAP. Combat power rate lets you spam more sp1s for more degens, and cosmic giving extra attack rating is always nice. Skill and mutant can fill out the rest of the slots, they’re nowhere near as valuable but they’re extra damage regardless. Science is bugged and currently has no effect so don’t stock up on those charges if you can help it, they’re wasted charges.

Get atleast 4-5 mystic ones, then get mutant charges for rest if you plan onhaving the regen on special hack

For BG’s you want the 7*, for everything else his dupe is nice.

Get atleast 4-5 mystic ones, then get mutant charges for rest if you plan onhaving the regen on special hack

He can only have 3 of each class. And try to get regen on special. Spam sp2 for stun lock if they are not stun immune. No need for degen.

Did I miss something? Where is the option to dupe Sinister for $350? Only way I know how is to use the Glorious Games awakening gem from when the saga first started, for those who spent a lot.

Obviously you can't ban something you don't have, but it is true regardless. I stopped banning Bullseye, Serpent, Enchantress, etc cuz I have them cuz I assume my opponent will ban them. If they do, I don't have to worry about fighting them, but if they don't then I just pray they'll appear in my draft. Try it yourself if you don't believe me

I think they are generalizing about the strategy of buying out tons of daily offers at various progression levels. Some bros have had a duped 7* Sinister for weeks because they were buying daily offers in game and in the web store, from all the different levels.

And you could only awaken Sinister from the Glorious Games gem. Thats why people like Vega saved their gem to use once they got the 7* Sinister. Buying a bunch of daily offers allowed players to get him earlier than normal, but no matter how many daily offers you bought, the limit was 1 to get 7* Sinister.

OP mentioned he didn’t want to shell out $350, so I’m wondering where this other route to awaken him came from without having that gem.

I got the 7* and the 200 sig R5A…the 7* stays R1, the 6R5A is more than enough for BG. 2 best defender for me last season, my R3 Red Skull nr 1.
