I know that we can now choose what the daily crystal is giving us and that we have guaranteed the 4 hours of crystals we always forget or didn't bother to collect, but now there are no items for the relics, and we gain more than 200k daily in the long run compared with what we have now. The last time I had this event, I had 42 million in gold and ended up with little more than half. Can somebody relate to that?

You can get the gold/iso crystal from the solo shards, it's not much but it's something.

I’d much rather have the daily super event and lose the relic stuff but buy anything I need from the glory store and BG store.

No, I can’t relate to that at all. Ranking relics isn’t worth the time unless you’re talking about the premier five and ideally six star relics. And there’s plenty of gold in the game unless you’re just ranking up every champion you have in order to chase account rating or something.

I rather spend the 100 glory for gold crystals if I need gold than do every 22hr and 7hr event.

This event is a win for a minimum of 90% of the playerbase. I get that you are one of the few negatively impacted by the change, but for nearly the whole of the game it is a win. They can't not make changes like this because a very small minority would be upset.

Absolutely. The only thing I’d like is for the incremental cost increases in the glory store to be scrapped. It just seems unnecessarily punitive.

Depends on your champ roster of course. I find meaningful value in the Venom, Juggs, and HB relics. The Vision relic is situationally useful if you’re in a heavy regen fight. Sinister on Sinister, BW ok Black Cat. Thor relic on CGR and other cosmic nukes. Antman on Spam. There are plenty of good ones. But also plenty that (to me) have been more or less irrelevant except as a way to extend combos.
