Raids issue or not

Look I'm still someone who still doesn't know a lot about raids nut I have a serious question when you do the instructions given to you so you can gain those orange raid charges it should give it to you but on some runs I do they would tip over 60 and revert back to 20s without giving me the orange charge is their an explanation for this cause it's been driving me nuts

    Do you have charges for your role? If you don't have charges, then you don't get orange buff.

    Pikolu I do the instructions right it's just that sometimes it reverts back without giving me the charges and when they do it sometimes go over like 60 than when I finish the instruction correctly it reverts back to 20 something without giving the orange buff

    Perhaps you aren't understanding my question. There are 3 types of charges for fights, tactician, Assault, and Vanguard. If you're using a Vanguard champion, then completing missions gives Tactician charges. However, if you want the orange buff, then before you enter, there needs to be at least 1 vanguard charge in the opponent.

    My question is, did your role have their charge before you entered the fight?
