    Does "split up" mean opening and buying? There were always different points for those actions. I thought we are actually "buying" crystals from the trader outpost. Or would it not count as a "buy" but rather an exchange?

    12.3k is in addition to everything available through banquet tokens and milestones, both units and crystals. So 12.3k units will be the minimum investment required to reach all milestones, but it will be more if you can't check all the other boxes.
