I don't even know how to play her yet, but so far I'm liking her damage and the fractured power bar is good utility

    Mid.

Mid vs non buffs great vs buffs only useful for pretty much serpent is all i see to control him

when there are no buffs she feels lacking

when there are ton of buffs AND they can be nullified AND there isn’t the power sting every time you cross a bar of power node so that you can throw specials back to back then she feels fun to use and has good damage

Feels like shes at the power level of sorceror supreme with the ability to take serpent

I just did some testing and against buff heavy champions, she feels great as she can maintain her ramp. Against non buff heavy champs she definitely feels slower. I was expecting her to be much more powerful given the lore

The fractured bar is fun to play around with though

The pure definition of a 'Free' champ. I don't see why people were anticipating a broken champion, especially one being free. She seems alright, is a solid champion to build your roster. Is she worth ranking up when your pretty much Paragon or Valiant? Probably not. TB and below? Possibly.

Odd, not exactly the replies I was expecting walking in here. Thought her fractured power bar schtick would make her an instant r3 and sig stone sink for most.

I literally just did a bg match threw 5 special 2s and didn't Crit on any hit how garbage is that

She seems a bit slow, but I enjoy her playstyle. She's gonna be a champ that you either love or hate.

She is ok, I guess she has potential on longer content...

She? Its not a she. They are fun and unique tho. The crit rating is garbage but the dmg is there. Shines mostly in matches where the opponents have buffs

    I really like her sp3

I strongly feel she should have ability to give buffs to opponents just like Kush so she can be great even in vanilla matchups

Yeah to me she feels like symbiote supreme currently, OP against buffs, but just ok against no buffs

It’s the first one of a new style of champ. I appreciate something different

Even then hes good since can tank sp3s with the armor effect he gets where sp3s can only deal 15% still a very strong ability but yeah she feels like sym supreme for sure but i think i prefer sym just because the symbiote stuff like it just visually looks so cool

    My initial thoughts:

    - Meh crit rate
    - Ramp isn’t the fastest tbh but she’s good against buff heavy champs
    - Damage once you get her going is good but like…why would you ever wanna use her over the other insanely powerful mystics
    - Meh utility

Very very early thoughts (hopefully they get more +) but as of right now she’s not doing anything great for the mystic class

Isophyne feels like Thor Jane Foster but with a lot more power control and a fractured power bar. I would also compare her to enchantress where once again we’re being forced to use our special attacks to increase our damage while also having a bunch of external factors dictating what the payoff will be. I don’t like the way that the overpowered reality warped mystics are being handled to be frank. I would like to see Kabam look deeper into what makes the mutants so good (Mutants are just mystics but with innate abilities… hence prowess)

The more technical mystics are supposed to be about control, versatility, and overwhelming force but instead we keep getting “Scarlet Witch before she learned how to control her powers… RAWRRR” and please consider why cosmic, science, and mutants have been working so much better. Science champions usually don’t gain buffs… therefore mystics automatically become less effective. Mutant champions just ignore the abilities of non superhuman people… therefore they can hard counter skills and even some cosmics. Cosmics all get fury buffs… why? Because cosmics (Gods) hit hard, it’s just that simple. Why don’t mystics have a “I’m a wizard I do wizard things” go to move other than a limited amount of power and buff control that usually comes with a built in kill switch or terrible damage? What can they innately contribute if they aren’t defenders with unstoppable passives or passive power gain (which cosmics also possess)

I was going to take her to R3 right away, but I think I'm gonna hold off for now. Gonna R3 either Wong or Kushala.

    She's a chop for me.

She's as buff-dependant as Symbiote Supreme but at least Sym Supreme can hit hard in the right matchup. Keeping in mind that 99.99% of people getting isophyne do not have the material to awaken her, I don't see her being realistically usable in any form of content when Dr. Doom, Shathra, Wiccan (who most people got from the Calendar), etc. are all capable of doing what she does and more. Even when people are able to get her awakened, her marked passive and other sig abilities aren't really enough to keep her relevant when there are already so many more better mystics.

Overall I kinda think she was promoted as a new Serpent, Maestro, and buff-heavy champion counter, but I think that, within and outside her niche, there is already enough good mystics for her to not have any impact on the game (and especially not in battlegrounds). Y'already got the free 7 star wiccan, and imo thats a far better investment for the time being.

Power bar thing is cool, champ feels OK not great, not in a rush to rank her, maybe never will

She’s a good champ overall, but not great. Mid at best.
