Aaaaaand we're back! Been real busy with other stuff in my life, but we're finally getting the Worthy Gods guide out tonight!
Disclaimer again: not going to go into too much detail regarding the necropolis nodes. Please see my first clear guides for more details.
The Squad:
7* R2 unduped serpent with 5* ms marvel relic
6* R5 ascended sig 200 herc with 4* ms marvel relic
5* R5 ascended sig 200 abs man with 5* iron fist relic
7* R3 unduped hulk with 6* hulk relic
4* R1 sig 40 heimdall (for cheat death)
The Stash:
11853 units
20 L1 revives
4 L2 revives
5 L3 revives
426 free crystals
Bunch of L4 and L5 potions stashed from my previous runs
Masteries:
Same as all my other runs (no suicides, had a couple of points in limber for omega sentinel and max despair for wiccan). Ran full 30 minute boosters for the entire run.
Journey to Psycho Man
TRAP NODE ALERT: This one isn't hard. When you parry, you get tranquilize which causes your debuffs to fail. Does make hulk tougher to play on this but it doesn't really affect anything else outside of your parry stuns.
Titania was quite easy, used serpent here. Spam sp1s into her block as the fear debuff can turn off her unblockable from the haymaker (you'll still have to deal with the unstoppable though but you can now stall via parry and blocking). Nothing too special here otherwise, took off 85% and then just finished the rest with herc.
Aarkus is a bit scary, but not too bad with abs man. Use magma form so you can reduce the block damage from the sp2 and stay aggressive to keep your forms paused. However, do keep in mind that Aarkus does get more power gain whenever you trigger an immunity, so stay open and bait specials as much as possible. Worst case scenario, heimdall can save you as although his indestructible doesn't trigger, he still negates any killing blow, which allows you to tank a sp3 for free. 1 revive spent here.
Omega sentinel isn't too bad, just gets a lot more auto block. You do get a lot of incinerates on you however the damage wasn't too bad before the first enrage. I kinda just brute forced this one, and although she can parry you with her auto block, the limber mastery allows you to recover quickly enough to avoid retaliation. Took her to 65% with herc, then spent 1 revive to finish it with serpent. With serpent, it's worth spamming sp2s instead of sp1s here as the armor ups allow you to deal bonus damage.
Air Walker isn't terrible with abs man. Use uru form, keep knocking him down, block any special hits to prevent the dark tide, and you are good. 1 revive due to poor AI.
Captain Britain was a joke with serpent. Same strategy as titania, just mind the reverse controls and it's easy. Managed to get a solo, though I did have to play around the final enrage quite a bit.
Wiccan was ridiculously easy with hulk. The basic strategy is as follows:
1. Build your 15 furies and enter gamma rage. Try not to let wiccan throw sp1 during this time
2. Throw your sp2 or sp3 (depends on fury RNG)
3. Get to a sp1, then stun lock him for as long as you can until rage expires
4. Eat a sp3 with heimdall, then rinse and repeat until someone dies
Try not to parry because of the trap node and you'll be set. 1 revive spent here.
And finally, psycho man was a bit annoying with the reduced ability accuracy, but wasn't too bad. Complete the prompts and you'll do okay here. Took off 70% with serpent, 20% with abs, then finished the rest with hulk.
And that's it! Another very cheap challenge, though I'll definitely need those saved revives for the last one... (psst, future me here, it was indeed quite expensive. )
The Final Cost:
4 L2 revives
Quite a few L4 and L5 potions
60 free crystals, got a lot of potions as well as 2 L1 and 2 L2 revives
Couple of 30 minute boosters, as always
The Rewards:
Awakened my knull from the 7* basic crystal. Pretty good.
Final Thoughts and Tips:
1. BOOST. Once again, I definitely saved myself a few revives doing this, this is endgame content so push your champs to the limit!
2. I've seen titania work well as a substitute for hulk, though I reckon you'll definitely need her to be high rank for this challenge. Additionally, Odin serves as another great attacker if you don't have serpent (didn't have him above a 5* sadly)
3. USE HEIMDALL. He's a life saver against Aarkus and his power gain, and can definitely save you if the AI decides to just not throw specials. Strongly recommend bringing him along.
4. As implied earlier, I ran the Dimensional Beings challenge (only a couple of days ago in fact), and boy oh boy did that one suck. Guide coming at some point in the future.
5. Apologies this was late, I ran this challenge almost a week ago, shortly after the Carina's Challengers run, but I've been real busy to write the guide. Do expect the same with the Dimensional Beings guide, gonna try and get it out before the new year.
Thanks for reading, hope this helped y'all!
