I think he’s actually really good, he’s meant for medium/long form content such as incursions or maybe a quest with higher than average health pools, hence his ramp up. Not all champs are tailored towards bgs, players only focus on bgs now so if a champ doesn’t do well in bgs then its automatically trash.

Sentry ain’t dogshit, he’s actually good in long form, you know, what he’s designed for. Sadly, the game doesn’t particularly find much use for these types of champions outside of that, so I wish they would have atleast given him a broken defender kit…

Like how they review newly released champs and announce buffs/nerfs based on whether they perform in intended way or not, in a short duration of 3-6 months, will buffed champs enter the same rebalance process?

I think so. Buffed Iron Man OG went through the rebalancing program and didn’t get changed

You also gain a reality warp for every time you go through his solar forms, once you go through all 3 you get one. Say you get through his forms 3 times (in reality probably more but I've realised I need to underestimate) and then die, that's still a plus 2 net positive. Average fight say 2 or 3 revives. After taking down one necro fight you more or less have a maxed out Sentry (8 warps to get the last new ability, 10 is max cap on warps for more damage). He definitely isn't as bad as some people make him out to be and actually has sustained ramp, unlike a certain Québécois speedster.
