Realm Events… just gross

By adding even more endgame rewards to the community event Kabam is tripling down on a reward strategy that manipulates the end game community and only results in a devaluation of end game rosters and effort.

Why push anything anymore when you can just get R3s as an uncollected or Cav player on the backs of others efforts.

I can understand people who complain that the crystals where underwhelming, but this? It just feel like a really weird stance to take. I mean, if a Proven player wants to dump all of their hard-earned resources (whether that's in-game resources or real-world ones) in order to get some proper goodies, what on Earth does that even matter to you for? What other people earn from this event does not concern me (or you) at all.

I also think it's hilarious that you somehow brought up communism but then edited that out. I don't even know what you said, but even so, that's sooooo funny.

Yeah I spoke first without thinking. But it makes zero sense to have gated progression then have community events where endgame rewards can be handed out to beginning accounts for a fee. It’s a devaluation of the endgame.

If it’s a minority opinion so be it. Personally I think things like this should have been solo milestones not in the realm.

Devaluation? How ? This is not tourney type game where we win cash awards . This is basically a slightly more complicated Pokémon go game where we collect various marvel characters . The only rewards we get for advancing is more collectibles.
Are you simply mad that you spent a bunch of money for getting things you could get for free with slightly more patience and luck

The isophyne dupe was high enough expenditure for those who do it. It says on the question mark that anything past is cherry on the top. IMO anything past the isophyne dupe should not have required more spending. The supposed goal was to make the gap between spenders and non spenders less wide but they add more goals for more spending. What a joke.

Because other people kept spending, you should get more free stuff? That's not how life works.

The whole point of the event is to get people to burn their free units and spend a few bucks... Extending the milestones is their most logical move.

I'm not personally motivated to spend more on the new milestones, but that doesn't mean others aren't.

It's a win-win situation for kabam & the players.

For reference I didn't even reached 18k points(no AG , no isophyne , no AG for buffed champs )

But whoever scored so many points it's just extra rewards 🤷

The p2p rewards don’t give an edge anymore. They hand out the entire platter.

Y should I waste my resources on carina or any everest when I can get 3X of that by paying a few 100$.

In my opinion, how much progression u can buy is generally the critical balancing point for any game n right now it’s quite off for mcoc imho.

This whole game is 'progression reward' based. No matter which part of the game you look at, the further you progress, the better the rewards. Why should this be any different?
I saved units for MONTHS, knowing that it'd take passing the early milestones to get to the good stuff. That was available to you and everyone else too.
If people want to spend and keep the game going for those of us that don't spend, surely we should be greatfull and they should be rewarded for that, right?
Personally, 0 money spent, Isophene dupe acquired.

But you were never “stuck.” You would’ve easily been able to handle the content even without the perks of Banquet. Plus we’ve seen speed runners hit Valiant completely F2P in under two weeks, again without Banquet.

The idea that Banquet is somehow allowing undeserving people to progress (also, absolutely lol at the idea of people being undeserving if they drop insane money on the game) is very silly to me.

I started playing Massive Warfare thanks to Kabam lol... Might reroute spending too.. this game is just missing all of my expectations for 2025. And some of their reasoning doesn't make any sense at all..
The SBCs were this way to shorten the gap between progression levels and all of the sudden during a weekend increase milestones to promote more spending? Its like they are treating the players like lab rats...

It defeats the point of having progression based cash offers, solo events, alliance events, etc.

If the best rewards are Realm Rewards going forward it devalues the need to do anything on the game other than pop crystals and catch them all. It’s completely outta balance and outta touch of the skill based elements that the game used to ask for.

It clearly steals from end game reward budgets to do this and will likely accelerate 8stars faster than they would have come as well. Realm events as they are currently structured as bad for the game and they are 3 for 3 under this design in creating community wide strife and controversy.

I don't see a problem with them adding extra rewards for higher spenders. I got my free Isophyne and that's all I want. If they had a Jessica Jones 7 star that might intrigue me to spend of extra units that I have grind already but I will most likely save my units. If other players who spend more money or units benefit from the added rewards, I personally don't see an issue with it. If new accounts get all these 7 stars to help progess, that's great to hear. I just don't want them complaining when they play BG in Platinum (or higher) or do hard content that it's too hard. They might have the champs but most of them didn't develop any skills or don't know how to read nodes. Keep the spenders spending so I can play this game without adds.
