Summoner's choice 2025 : DONOT REPEAT THE SAME MISTAKE

Last time the summoner's choice had a very popular option (in blob). And the community was so sure that he would win, it turns out that a lot of the people didn't even vote for him, just cause they thought he was gonna win anyways.

This time we got Mr Knight in the same situation,
(Popular, live action appearance, more votes on the forums, everybody thinks he'll take it by a land slide)

So I am asking and hoping that we don't make the same mistake this time.

TO PUT IT SIMPLY:
Vote for the champ YOU WANT.
No matter how likely/unlikely you think they are to win. Cause these votes are more unpredictable than you think (case in point, Shathra)

You realize that forums presence is probably less than 1% of the entire player base, right?

I'd suggest the mistake is don't listen to the vocal minority. There are over 200,000 people who play the game and less than 1% of that is pretty much represented here

Wasn't that the entire point I was making?, everybody thinks they'll win, it's not just the forums, YouTube and X , I have personally seen members of my alliance that never visited the forums say blob will probably win cause he's popular from X men and just not vote for him

The takeaway is vote for who you want, not who you think will win

The takeaway still remains the same don't vote for a character on the basis of if you think they'll win or not.

The takeaway is vote for who you want, not who you think will win

The point you were making was for people to vote for who they want. That's what happens with every single on of these votes. People aren't going to vote for their backup champ because they know the champ they want is winning; they're going to vote for the champ that they want. The social media side of representation, regardless of the outlet, is miniscule compared to the total voting base. Thousands of votes will be cast by players that hear about this for the first time through an in-game message, and they will far outnumber those that have been online to have conversations about it. So while you are making a point, the point is pointless.

Just vote for who you want. They will eventually add the one you voted for, if they don't add soon, they don't have any concept thought of for them and need time, for example Blob, he will get better gameplay and features that doesn't exist now.

Whole community is a bigger audience and divided voting can go any way, just hope the one who wins is good and do your bit, take a drink and sleep.

I think they mentioned during the last vote that they are intentionally going to let the winner have time in the contest and won't bring the others right away so that the voting actually means something (paraphrasing) or something a long those lines
