But the crystals are never going to be the main focus of the rewards, because if they were as TyEdge correctly summarized, it would mean creating an enormous gap between the big spenders and everyone else.

Why create an enormous gap between big spenders and everyone else via crystals? Can't do that. Shouldn't do that. Better do it through secret exclusive offers where rank up materials are provided to people for 99% cheaper than what they're provided to for everyone else.

"Oh, but those big spenders would have their materials expire!"

... so, the problem that other people are facing?

The amount of people bending over backwards to say that this offer is acceptable is ridiculous. We are all told that certain materials and resources have a cost and value assigned to them. That occasionally changes with game progression... but now the top 1% are being told that the cost associated with peasants isn't something they should worry about.

Doesn't matter if it was a limited time / quantity offer. If it's an offer being made in game, it should be available for everyone to buy. If it can't be made available for everyone to buy because it would break the game, then don't make it available at all.

Equality vs Equity

If you want to act like one of your goals is to not create a massive gap between big spenders and everyone else - how about you actually follow through with it and not bend over backwards to create said gap behind closed doors?

It was for unit, if you have 1.5 millions of them. It was not exclusive, you score 1m, you get it. You dont want to items get expired when you pay such amount of money. You cant expect 10 unit T6B as normal offer for everyone, it is not normal.

I for one, will agree with you. This banquet, I purchased both SBC bundles maxed out, so $200 twice. The bundle with the key, so another $50. Then every bonus unit bundle. This all totals to over $1200.

Guess the one item I actually need right now? T6B and T3A. I have overflowing T4A/T6CC that I can't even use because I can't even get everyone on my short list of rankups to R2 (at the current moment).

Even providing this offer with a limit of 10 or so would've been nice to have for the majority of the player base, Valiants at least.

I pushed everything i can to get the last few tier6 b and tier 3 aplha i have 2 tiers 4 aplha in overflow. Not alot but 3 coming from in 2 weeks.

I would argue though that these resources in overflow won’t expire and you’ll find a way to use them, I spent around half your amount and am out of the same cats as you, but I will recoup them in around 2 weeks through daily super and when the bg season ends.

Scale that 200 times for the top spenders, it’s not directly comparable with our resource problems.

True. These resources recoup much quicker these days, and in the grand scheme of things it wouldn’t have really mattered: even a limit of 10 on these would’ve only helped me with a rank up and a half for a champ; not that huge. But it still would’ve been a nice gesture.

I'm sorry but I have to jump in. Some of us Valiant players don't spend like whales. Some of us used our hard earned units to get to that point. Sure it took a bit of time and a lot of frustration, but please don't put all of the valiant players in one spending pot....
