Removed Sigil Features

Golden Circle Quest
- The Gold from the quest has been reallocated into the new Weekly Bundle.
- Overall the total gold earned through the Summoner’s Sigil has been increased!
Solo Event
- The rewards have been reallocated into the new Weekly Bundle.
- Overall the total rewards earned through the Summoner’s Sigil has been increased!
4-Star Scarlet Witch Purchase Bonus
- The cost of the 4-Star Scarlet Witch has been greatly reduced in the new Sigil Store.

Compensation Plan

As compensation players will receive a package of rewards based on the number of remaining days of Summoner’s Sigil access they have at the time of the transition, in addition to extra compensation for the interim downtime of Arena Express Mode.
- All players will be compensated based on the number of Units and Sigil Credits available in the Test of the Valiant Solo Event.
- All players will be compensated 600 Units and 60 Sigil Credits to account for the downtime of Arena Express Mode
Additionally we will be converting all Greater Sigil Credits into Sigil Credits at a 1:1 ratio, as all items in the new Sigil Store will only be purchaseable with Sigil Credits.

Not to be confrontational- but by that logic, arena express shouldn’t be pay walled then. Does it have value or doesn’t it?

First of all, appreciate what you are doing to upgrade and improve the sigil.

Second, as someone who does Strategy, Marketing, and Customer Engagement work in the real world, just a suggestion for next time: I’d have recommended you actually open up Arena express to the full community during the two week transition period between the old sigil and the new subscription service. Keeps the current customers of the capability happy while allowing a broader set of people to try it out and see if they like it. If they do, it just drives stronger adoption of the new subscription service when Arena Express goes back behind the paywall in two weeks. As you already noted in your note, doesn’t add any units into the mix or damage the economy in any way. From an engagement standpoint it would probably be neutral to positive - the hardcore grinders probably are already paying for the service so no engagement reduction since they were already grinding them faster, and potentially gets some folks who don’t spend a lot of time in arena doing so to try out the capability during the trial period.

Anyway, just a suggestion.

Actually it seems that's a bit sneaky,what are the old sigil and greater sigil tokens already collected going to be converted to?you say greater sigil will be converted 1-1 for sigil credits but no mention of the original tokens.i had loads and they've cost me a bomb.i had over 350 greater sigil tokens and 200 sigil tokens.i can promise you if I have less value for what I bought on trust I won't be purchasing any of it again

I just don’t see how the greater sigil credit is converted at a 1:1 and I shouldn’t fill cheated.

And it doesn't mention the normal sigil token at all,I had 2 thirds of a 7*

I’m a bit confused. I am reading through the original message and I see that the new sigil is released on Jan 27th. When was Kabam planning to remove the sigil? Does our account show the sigil or does it disappear during the transition? Why do we not have access to the arena stuff.

Would it have been extremely hard to send an in-game warning 24 hours in advance of the removal of the sigil? I think that is a basic courtesy people paying for a service deserve. I would of preferred that over coming here to read through this… I still haven’t found the date of when Kabam planned to remove the sigil.

All respect to Kabam and people that work these forums ( I do realize you guys deal with some wild and outlandish things), but as a spender on this game and someone who puts in every milestone for every arena each time it's out, this feels like punishment.

I am now not inclined to do arena because it takes SIGNIFICANTLY more time. I made my choice of "time or money" to not only not save time now, but to also lose money. Other rewards from the sigil are nice, but if I just do milestones and cash in my arena tokens, on average I'm getting about 1k units per week from just arena alone, which turns my 10 dollar investment into 100 dollars + in savings per month. I'll take that value all day every day.

I also understand that you didn't remove the possibility of getting those units in arena, but due to my schedule being tight, that ultimately is asking more of my time, which since I don't have it, is why I spend money. This is disincentivizing a piece of the game that should be getting incentivized.

I understand that it may be an oversight, but please do something because it's putting a sour taste in the players mouth when it could have been a great marketing tool to just give all players the express pass for the week to get them hooked

No disrespect to Kabaam, as I believe they’ve tried to think this out, and no matter what they do people are gonna hate.
But I think a lot of the people who have the sigil, including myself don’t have it for the extra rewards, we have it for arena express.

I appreciate that there is going to be some type of compensation, but I am missing out on significantly more rewards from not having arena express for two weeks than I would be getting in their sigil compensation plan. This is because I just don’t have the extra time to put into are arena.

The extra rewards are nice but nothing that’s doing anything for end game players. Even with the updated store, I don’t really care about an extra titan every 10 months. I really only care about arena express, and because of this I wish they would either open that up to everyone, or compensate the people who already paid to have it for this 2 weeks period in accordance to all the extra arena rewards they will miss due to not having the extra time. I re-upped my sigil a couple days ago, and the compensation being offered just is t worth that $10 to me.

Again all respect to kabaam for even updating the store in the first place, but I think it would be worthwhile to everyone to make arena express available to all until the new sigil roles out

Also, can you please clarify the conversion of sigil/greater sigil credits? Is either currency being lost outright?
There are the 300/375 units at the start of the month too depending on purchase method, as well as the weekly ones

After a fair bit of reflection on the new Sigil terms, I think my course of action is (a) get it for the first month so I can take advantage of the T4a trade-in, (b) decide whether my 248 Sigil credits and 279 Greater credits are best used to awaken Sigil Witch, grab a 7* nexus or hold for a Titan (still short an estimated 100 credits) and (c) let it run out.

I may change my decision if things look better than expected, but I’m not enthusiastic about the revisions—specifically the Greater credit conversion, the inability to trade shards for higher rarity shards plus the overall cost for everything.

Unless Kabam, you aren't planning to do another "free trial" of the new version... letting everyone have 2 weeks of the increased inventory cap and arena express could generate some sales for you and get some much needed good PR.

They really missed out on a chance to promote the sigil. I did 1 pass of arenas yesterday without arena express. It was the most awful slow and tedious arena grind ever.

As nice as it is for you to be sticking up for the spenders (which I truly do appreciate), Kabam already made promises to us about what compensation we would receive for spending on the sigil before the new release. Anyone who thinks we deserve more compensation for that piece seems to have a disconnect that we get to chose what our compensation is based on our personal perceived value.

The real issue is that for all of us that pay consistently, we never had any clue that it would be stunting our arena farm for 4 (main) series of arenas (2 weeks worth). The reason it's fine to give both spenders and free to play the option for arena express is because it still gives spenders their compensation that was promised and the ability to farm as normal. We couldn't expect more than that anyways. Giving it to F2P is mostly a benefit for when it comes back as a great way to get several more subscribers to the new sigil.

ALSO...since it's a subscription, they know people will forget about it and pay them much more in the long run anyways...why wouldn't you do everything you could do get people to sign up once and pay for longer than they should? (capitalism!!! yikers i'm not proud of myself)
