To Cavalier (to upgrade Xmas gift to 6-Star Nexus) - easier to rank champs or complete the Act?

With this new progression path, there are two ways to reach Cavalier progression.
And since there is at stake a 6-Star Nexus, how to define which route is easier (for a new Summoner)?
Speedrun to Valiant progression title is now at a record low at 14 days. Is completing Act 6 not simpler?
Well, there are not so few new Summoners running around with plethora of 7-Stars and asking for help to conquer Act 6 Chapter 1.
This account is not a good representation (I try
) as it is not exactly new.What I did was to
1/ restrict path progression till Act 5 (hit high Summoner level for storage space) and
2/ keep the champs to max rank 1 (6-Star) and rank 4 (5-Star)
- I did upgrade five of the 6-Stars to rank 2 and did not level up (checking on whether there are sufficient class of the required T5CC)
This is the status (before champ upgrade)
Looks like all that is needed are Isos and whether I can turn the gift into a nexus.
Without the Grand Banquet event with 7-Stars handouts, which is easier to obtain Cavalier progression status for new Summoners?

It should read as rank 3.
The Xmas gift is now a 6-Star Nexus.

Recently, I have been testing whether a 4-Star Nebula can do some serious damage to the indomitable Sentinel in Act 6.1.2. Game developer even set the champ without sig ability.
RNG is very interesting.
