New AW showcase

The new AW showcase side quest just seems tedious to do. The healthpools are large and the attack rating scaling isn't really sufficient. And the rewards are 6* rank up gems lol it should be 7* r2 class gem instead. Am I the only one who feel like this?

These new quests are awful I don't need or want to fight a 4.5M HP Enchantress and lose complete control cause I mess up a dex. I have now attempted this 2 times and team wiped each time. she is far too AI dependant of a defender to have a health pool of that magnitude.

I was kind of shocked when I entered it. Like it’s not the hardest thing ever, well…some of them are axiomatically difficult based on simply the difficulty of the defenders, but for the rewards, bizarre to be honest…

I don’t have void or Chavez for the showcase. Have Ironheart and domino/onslaught. Any idea what science champ I should bring in for white tiger and destroyer? And then who should I bring in for maestro?

Nefaria works for destroyer and white tiger.

Ironheart with rupture prefights. She's also good for the bullseye with incinerate prefight

Those two champs have avoided me as well. Yeah I have Ironheart so I’m not worried abt either of those fights. I have white tiger to take maestro. All I really lack is someone to take white tiger and destroyer

Nope. Silk is my most wanted pull. Would take her straight to r3. Science champs seem to avoid me in general. I have anti venom but no way I rank him just for this showcase

Papa Luke? Haven't tried him against WT, but he worked great against destroyer. Can't see why he wouldn't work for WT

If it’s locked to provacatour (can’t spell lol) and secutor I’ve got mister negative awakened at max r1. I’ve seen he can possibly work? Otherwise I’m pretty limited unless I do some rankups. I would just hate to rank up a 6 star to r3, 4, or even 5 that is barely gonna use again. I have plenty of mystic options that fit the bill I think.

I took AV up during the AW seasons for these tags because I already had him r4a at the time, I definitely wouldn't rank him up just for this in your case.

I saw MCOC Noob post that negative was a counter. Gonna learn his playstyle and try that out. For my mystic counter I’ve got shathra, rintrah, destroyer, abs man. Pretty much everyone except Kushala and Chavez…of course

The science and tech showcase were very easy if you have the right champs. They aren't necessary to do but since there isn't much else to do, why not give it a try ? The rewards are neither good nor bad. Normally I wouldn't spend resources to R5 a 6* but given the gems, it's a good chance to rank up some fun champs. 7* 1-2 gems would've been a lot better, but it is what it is. Had fun and that's all that matters to me.

I'll be honest and blunt.
You don't have a deep roster from what it seems.
Rankup some 6*s. There are times when you don't have top options. So you just farm revives, use big boosts including loyalty class boosts and you push through, we all had to do that one time or the other. We did that when we were new to the game, we will do it now whenever needed.

I used redskull for northstar. Go to your corner and heavy to healblock.
Silk for mango. Mrf, cage, s99 works too.

The Science & Tech ones are extremely easy but definitely takes time. Luke Cage does every fight in 3 minutes the 7* sigs are worth it and the R5 gems are not bad.

I broke down and ended up doing this showcase. I know some people are having trouble with Northstar but Sentinel absolutely cooks him. Granted I have 7* Rank 3 sig 200, but he melted him with like 2 special 2s in about 40 seconds (after max analysis). Easiest and quickest fight on the right side by far. I also used Sentinel for White Tiger and Dust, so he can take 3 fights on that path no problem.

I have several times already. And I actually do want to complete it, as I do like completing stuff. The rewards are not great compared to the time spent in it,,as every one has stated. But..at least it’s doable…if you can stay awake.

Also. The ai on some of them is just boring as f..k. Like the first fight I spend probably half the time trying to bait special 1 from toad. So on an already long ass fight, it’s actually double the time cos of baiting specials.

And yes, I fell asleep whilst trying to bait specials too, and woke up to my ass getting smacked ….

Either big hp pool, or dmg protection - not both.. I don’t know why on earth they decided to enforce a 2 minute survival timer before allowing you to do decent damage..

Like why…why!? Why enforce us to waste 2 mins of the fight before actually being able to fight…just seems unnecessary.

Agreed. I've done 1st fights of both classes. Not difficult, just absolutely boring. Don't have the patience
