Deathless Magik and Quake?

Kabam you have such a good opportunity here to release 6/7* versions of Magik and Quake as Deathless champs.
You can tune them down to where they need to be to not break the game, slightly change their kit and because it's a Deathless champ we wouldn't care as much as nerfing the OG versions.
It probably should've been those 2 instead of Guilly and Shulk.
Make it happen, miss playing those champs.

Would love something like this because I miss playing Magik. Now that r4s exist, her power level can’t truly compete, so maybe they’ll FINALLY give us the 6* version of the regular Magik as well.

Magik just uses Power lock debuff right? I've never used her, but that's how I remember it. Then limbo, yes. Incredible power control yes, don't get me wrong, but I don't understand why is it considered game breaking? There are so many Champions immune to power manipulation, and then there are nodes as well. Besides, usage of debuffs is also not as great, shrug off/cleanse/purify abilities and nodes related to that, debuff duration reduction and what not?

Because outside of those nodes/champs magik still makes 95% of content trivial. Can't gain power? Easy win easy life. Your also forgetting how her sp3 works. The more buffs they have the more damage she does.

You're right. Given how the focus light has moved to Battlegrounds lately, I think she'll do fabulously over there.

Imagine taking Bullseye down with not even block damage because you managed to power lock him, the same for Onslaught, Enchantress

Maybe I'm missing something, but how are you going to reach sp2 before Bullseye gets to sp1?

Yes I was gonna tell the same, but Magik's Limbo mitigates damage taken during its period of being active so that might help.

Absolutely love this concept. Then the timeless variants could be from alternate points in time as well.

For Timeless champs, I think the following would be good candidates:

- Superior Kang (requires all 4 timeless champs to unlock)

- Timeless Hercules
- Timeless Quake
- Timeless Magik
- Timeless Kitty Pryde

I opted for Kitty instead of Kate like someone else in this thread mentioned, since Kate was a candidate for the first 7* skill poll they did when 7*’s released, which means that they’re already willing to release her as a 7*. I remember that they said that Kitty and Hercules were the main reasons why the Champion Rebalance Program was created in the first place, so I don’t think we’re going to see a 7* Kittty Pryde anytime soon. A rebalanced Timeless version would be a great replacement.

Also, the idea where each of these champions would feature a different time period instead of just a basic recolor is something I would really love to see

I’d be ok with Kitty too, heck I’d like her over Herc as we got 2 cosmics in the Deathless Saga.

I’ll be crazy shocked to see Kate ever come out as a 7star though, and if she does it will be at the end of the lifespan. I think that ship has forever sailed though.

Also since the general premise is reimagining broken kits it’d be great to see the team lean in more on original designs for the “Timeless” champs that way it doesn’t come off as a nerf of something that we know and love but as its own thing.

This is a great idea. Change their kit a little bit and release them as the new chase champs. I would be down for it. The main chase champ would be Timeless Groot. Gave Groot the buff he needs without touching the OG meme Groot. We always need a low tier champ to say "NOT another Groot" or"What a useless POS".

i think recently, like 1 or 2 years ago kabam tried get community sentiment on nerfing quake and magik so they could be released as 6*s and the community said no so kabam never bothered.
