By far this still most outdated “rewards” from events and side quests…

Event Crystal Shards.
I can’t believe after all this time these are still the same for Cavaliers as they are for Valiants.

And these are treated as being in the same camp of relevance as 7* shards and T4A shards (which, at the amounts are also pretty outdated for Valiants).
With 2,000 shards (which not even one path has), you have a 7.5% chance of drawing a 6* champion from the list of heroes…
For a refresher, these shards - and thus the “rewards” are lumped in the same category as a Cavalier, who has completed Act 6 Chapter 1 *or* five 6* R3’s, as they are a Valiant, who has completed Act 8 Chapter 3 *AND* has two 7* R3’s.
I don’t see how this is anything that needs a complete rework or overhaul or new difficulty or threat level added.
You LITERALLY just need to add a new crystal type. Shards can stay the same, and if you’re Paragon or Valiant you get a “Paragon or Valiant Before Death Crystal” (insert event name) with different percentages of likelihood of drawing champs, including putting a % chance to draw a 7 star. And you could just *not* include those champs who are not yet 7*s in the pool of possible 7 draws.
I don’t understand how after all of this time, these are treated as something of value over anything other than what they really are - a 92.5% chance at a 4 or 5 star champ and basically this:

Just like there are items in certain stores that are available only to Paragon & Valiant.
Team should just say that.
