This game is in such a weird place…

You got the top players who love everest stuff jumping into Epoch of Pain today. I don’t think that is the majority of players. Might be the majority of this forum though. But, if you aren’t in that group like me… let’s see what else the game has to offer.
Well, EQ and SQ are still months away from being touched. Can’t even get a date yet.
BG’s starts again next week. We just had a poll earlier where the great majority barely push at all because the rewards are immeasurably overdue for a buff. And we again get ANOTHER month of no BG reward buff it was announced.
No other content on the horizon for weeks. Next up is the next Act 9 iteration … if you can remember to log in for it since there isn’t anything else to do but grind units. Because, of course, we will still have sales. We won’t have any other content to use those newly ranked champs in mind you that you… but we will have sales.

You are right about one thing, the rewards for the older content just do not justify the effort anymore. I may not even do Battlegrounds this season and I've already decided that war is no longer worth my time either.
Will get to Epoch eventually but I don’t have time for it right now.

Seems like a huge W for both the players and Kabam.
This has happened multiple times in the past. It happened when Kabam introduced Master difficulty all the way back in the stone age. First people complained that EQ was stale, and then when Master difficulty was released many of the same people complained it was a cash grab because it was too difficult. In fact, this happened enough times that it became a running joke on the forums, where the standard response to "we need a new difficulty for EQ" was "... and then it'll be too hard for you."
This is especially true for the players near the top. For most progressing players, there's always something higher to work towards. But for the players at or near the top, there isn't, and never will be tons of stuff to do, because the devs cannot spend most of their time catering to the needs of only 1% of the players. If you do the end game stuff fast enough, you will always outpace the content release schedule, and then you get to wait until the next thing comes out. It will not be next week, or next month, or even sometimes next quarter.
My Alliance lands between 400 to 500
It is not about the skill when you dont have possibility to get right champions and to form the team i did most of end game content but cant touch necro or epoch with 2 r5 6* and dont have possibility to rank my 7* with abysmal rewards from side content
The shift to this type of content first began with the Necropolis, and is carried over into the Epoch. I'm a Valiant and have been for over 2 months now, and I have no plans to complete either of these pieces of content anytime soon. The strain it puts on my resources is just too much, especially this new Epoch quest.
Now I know I'll probably get a lot of flak for this statement, people saying I need to get better and all that, but in truth I feel like Endgame content has just gotten completely out of hand. Gone are the days where with enough planning you could completely solo an endgame piece of content. Now healthpools are getting bigger, fights are getting more frustrating, and game mechanics are becoming more and more confusing. I've read through Ares's abilities multiple times now, and I can barely get a grasp on how the fight even works.
I understand that a large majority of forumers are late-game players who are among MCOC's best, so I just thought I would share my perspective on this issue as a relatively lower-level player. I just feel like my experience is much more reflective of the rest of the playerbase, and I just wanted to share my thoughts on the direction the game's going in. While this may not seem like too much of an issue now, if things continue like this pretty soon lower-progression players will have no way to complete any of the new endgame content, and progression will just be gatekeeped by the small minority of players who can actually consistently complete this type of content.
As for the content I also agree, I don't want to be doing 5 to 8 min fights that's just wayyyy to much bs for this guy. If you're one that likes it by all means go for it. It just isn't for me.
I think the content I would like to see is something like The Crucible. I was lazy with it when it came out but then decided to do it again and it's some of the most fun I had. It made me think of how to approach it without having to do long fights. It even had me rank up characters I forgot about. I would like to see more of that where it's more about roster building and making sure you have enough counters than long fights with crazy nodes.
Bg off-season - some casual free time
War off-season - some free time
No content to do just stack up your revives + potion & prep for your run .
Why do u need content after content ?? It will just create stress for kabam & players to catch-up & FOMO of doing it.
It's a normal ez time just let it be .
Kabam & there Developer are also humans they also need time for there loved ones during valentine's.
Boy, you pummeled that strawman. He is down and out. Probably out of revives too. Well done.
“Just stack your revives for your run”
Again - some of us out here don’t find unitman enjoyable. If that’s what Kabam wants - MCOC EVEREST CONTENT OF CHAMPIONS- then let the rest of us know, and I will quit monetizing the game. Maybe that’s just what you want -who knows? For starters, It seems to contradict Kabam Crashed’s comments on monthly content being woefully behind what it should be… just sayin’
Who are in the prestige - they would like to spend money
Who are in top aw alliance - they would like to spend money
Who are in BG alliance - they would like to spend money
It's ok as small amount contribute to something.
EQ + SQ + incursion + Arena + Endgame content evrything takes time effort to build but it takes few seconds to say not worth it.
If majority players haven't reached there so there is too much for players to do 🤷 isn't that contradict your point if someone haven't done story , carina challenge or even necro - they have way too much stacked up to do
All I am seeing you argue is “if you are valiant and don’t like where Everest is going… quit. We don’t want Kabam wasting their time anymore on other stuff. Nothing needs buffed and all other content doesn’t matter” That about it?
all you have to do is spend money and you'll find the game enjoyable 😯😯😯😯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
He said he will quit monitizing - that's the point even small spender account to something like the platinum pass if more people buy it still becomes a significant amount.
That's just your statement - every word.
For ref - I am 100% f2p & 9+ years of playing
It feels like my only choices are Everest endgame content which isn’t my cup of tea or repetitive, easy-mode content with sub-par rewards for where my account is. Maybe I am in a limbo zone for the design team but it seems like that could be addressed by having content tuned for new progression levels when they come out instead of waiting 1-2 years or more to update regular content difficulties.
It also seems like all rewards (stores/EQ/SQ/AQ and AW rank) should get re-evaluated every 6 months or so to try to keep them at least somewhat current.
I’d like moderate difficulty with nice rewards. I know that’s a moving target and different for everyone but there seems to be a void between regular monthly content and special end game content other than the EOP stuff. That’s been great and that’s the right level of difficulty/rewards for me right now but it’s one fight every few weeks so it’s not enough to get me playing a whole lot.
Maybe I'm like you and I'm in the middle limbo stage where I would like a challenge but not crazy and I'm ok with the rewards being scaled back a bit as well.
