Path Energy revision

I’m a fairly new player in this game so I’m this suggestion has already been made by someone before, but…

I think it would be a great improvement if previously completed paths in quests required no energy. While revisiting early acts like 1, 2, and 3 for 100% exploration, I found that the energy cost wasn’t too bad since each tile only cost 1 energy. However, Act 4 is a completely different story! With tiles costing 2 energy each, you burn through your energy quickly and end up waiting hours for a refill.

A simple solution would be to remove the energy cost for tiles you’ve already completed. Some paths have multiple intersections, meaning you only miss a few tiles after your initial run. For example, in Act 4, Chapter 4, Quest 3, the far-left and far-right paths intersect four times. Completing one run covers most of the path, leaving only about four tiles unexplored. Yet, getting those last four tiles costs another 46 energy. That just feels excessive.

Sure, energy refills aren’t too hard to get with the new daily super quest providing four free crystals. If you save them for a couple of weeks, you can get a decent amount of energy. But this change would be a major quality-of-life improvement. I’m currently Paragon, and honestly, I don’t see much incentive to fully explore Acts 5, 6, or 7. The energy cost is too high for exploration rewards that aren’t particularly useful at my level.
