I’ve seen a lot of threads asking for advice on paths, ares tips, best champs, etc. I thought it would be helpful if I started a thread with an open floor for people to leave questions here and myself or other people who have explored the content can give advice. I by no means am the highest skill player nor do I have the highest level roster and I used a fair bit of revives. However, I would love to help other people not use as many revives as I had to.

I love watching content creators, and they do give great advice, but this can be a discussion where those of us who do not have the most stacked roster can help as many people as possible explore this difficult piece of content.

I'm hating the mutant/mystic Cassie with the power drai, especially with her throwing the sp1. Suggestions, particularly on how to help her hold her special until sp2? Thanks.

That path was tough for me. Cassie was the most difficult with prowler being a close second during my mutant run. I used NTW for Cassie and found some success, especially with NTWs longer stun, and i only throw sp1, making the power drain not matter as much.

For Cassie, shorten your combo to four and hold block after she goes over one bar of power. That should prevent her from throwing a special. NTW is able to push her power higher during a parry stun, but the tip above should help with using any champ

Use someone who shuts evade/miss. Professor x is perfect.

This is great advice too. I used bullseye for my cosmic/skill run and he demolished this fight, completely turned off the node

I did it with storm r2 max boosted and one revive. But I couldn't stun lock him like you could in the original annihulius fight due to the new node.

Used Dazzler. Higher shes ramped up before sp2, the more damage she does. Getting perfects on her specials helps a lot.

If you have storm px, she can solo even at R1 . But it's a very long fight. Use boosts

I used Domino at r2. And boosted to high heavens. Just blocked a lot of hits so that she won't throw her sp1. Even if she does,the 6 hit combo helps

Any suggestions for the Abs man fight? I can solo Hulking no problem, but Abs Man’s regen is so aggressive and annoying. I really don’t want to do the force quit method when he heals if I don’t have to. That feels so wasteful. He’s constantly popping off SP1 so it’s hard to keep him in check.

I have an awakened R3 Hulk and R3 Photon for Abs. My Photon is only a few weeks old, so I’m still learning how to play her. Should I bring someone else for him instead? I have an awakened R2 Sentinel and R2 Luke Cage sitting on the bench.

For Jabari, should I bring R3 Awakened Sentinel or R2 Unawawaked Omega Sentinel? That fight scares me and it sucks it’s last. I don’t mind restarting on Abs until I get a good run, but I don’t want to get caught at Jabari with a bad counter.

I used an R3 unawakened Mordo. Just SP1 spam and keep the furies up. Its great because you can throw your specials into his block and get the degen. It took me 2-3 revives, because I haven’t used Mordo a lot before that fight.

What are your strategy when intercepting? I'm still trying to finish Ares and the intercept's what's killing me. I've what's a lot of videos of YouTubers doing this fight and it seems so easy to intercept, what am I missing?

I don't really know what to say bar just keep intercepting, genuinely. Maybe do some practise duels with low champs against high health champs and get into the flow of light intercepting the opponent like 5x inn a row. That is all I can say, sorry

I've found light intercepts with 2 hit combos work decently well. They say the AI is aggressive if it's up against your wall but I can't confirm.

But it's really the special dodges that matter imo. Intercepts are just slight toppings

While intercepts are helpful. The best thing is to dodge his specials. You remove three charges for each special hit dodged, much more effective in the long run

Photon worked perfect for abs man. She has so many debuffs, just play the fight normal

I used Classic Spiderman for Absorbing man. Wit his awakened ability, he completely shutdowns his unstoppable with his Two decelarates debuffs.
Another crucial note for this fight that you absolutely need to have despair, otherwise the fight never ends

Ah, I don’t have despair on my current mastery build. That’s why I was struggling with Photon vs Abs. I’ll switch it next attempt.

My 7* photon is r1 since shes unduped. And sadly cant bring the 6*

Someone said they did it with silk, she should counter the unstoppable but for the regen i assume they would hold block to prevent certain specials being thrown

I have a R3 silk and she couldn’t out damage the regen. Even with the awakened ability

I don't have a duped silk so can I use sandman for abs man? Have anyone used him? He was great during the initial abs fight. Mine is only r1 sig 20 though.

Yeah, there's no difference. It's just alternating specials

You mean the power boost nerf?

That and the node where you take damage if they are up against the wall.

But how am I gonna get him bars for specials if I can't hit him to get them? He's stun immune and his heavies as unstoppable and mostly unpunishable because he reacts too fast, plus he's unblockable

Unduped Silk can do it, just dance around the unstoppable timer and do the normal Abs counter fight. Her physical vulnerability debuffs shuts the regen after 5 or 6 I believe, but that has something to do with mastery setup

He gains power even when he doesn't hit you. Also try hitting his block
