    Serpent is a really underrated attacker. Sure he's not great for Battlegrounds, but he'll do a lot in other areas, especially longer fights
    calling him underated is a joke when there's trappy who doesn't even want anything to do with serpent

    Serpent changed the game honestly. Dthanos did not even come close to that. Serpent is so iconic honestly, when you think of worst defenders to face without a counter, serpent is up there. Also his aura….

    Agree....everyone IMMEDIATELY sees him and just says defense. I've done 1 run in epoch and at least tested every path a few times.....he's without a doubt one of, if not the best attacker for epoch....you need a ton of champions obviously but if you had to get ONE path done and could only pick one champion he'd without a doubt be the champ I took with me

    Serpent is way better on both, Deathless Thanos is overrated and needs his whole team to be good on attack.

    And Serpent is much better on defence too.

    I haven’t seen anyone reaching for Deathless Thanos for this months Everest content, for example.

    Serpent has a miss and evade counter and is tanky. D Thanos does the same just with more damage fresh out of the gate. Sure serpent has unblockable specials and a couple other bits (the fear debuff is really useful for example) but Dthanos has his interactions with armour up and easy heavy attack openings.

    Imo Thanos is better just cause he’s a marginally better attacker and (like Serpent) an absolute menace on defense without a counter. Maybe serpent is a little harder to kill, but unless your opponent has a top mystic option both Serpent and Dthanos are almost free wins in BGs. Thanos and Serpent together can do almost every fight in the game, seriously I can’t think of many at all (aside from special restrictions like do you bleed) that the pair of them can’t do.

    Saying Thanos is overrated on attack and needs his synergy team is just silly really, if anything his full potential is under-utilised, and his synergies don’t even benefit him that much, people think he’s just a nuke but he’s got a boatload of utility up his belt: not needing to parry, miss and evade counter, heavy openings, can remove every armour up in the game through one method or another, damaging debuffs no champion is immune to, mix of physical/energy/contact/no contact attacks, easy buff gain, easy debuff placement, regen, unstoppable, protection so that he can tank specials, and at least 3 damage rotations depending on what type of fight it is. His ONLY weakness is unblockable which happens to be the thing Serpent can counter on attack
