War map issues

Hi All. We added two new players this offseason and switched the BGs a bit. However, the groups aren’t updating. The players would really like to practice the new nodes. The groups are set up correctly in game, but will won’t let some people join. It has people assigned to two groups.

Is there anything I can change in game to fix this? Is this a known bug? Do they just need to remove all defenders?

Typically once we set it in game it is just ready for the next war, but it has been 3 wars and it is not updating. Any help from @kabam crashed or anyone would be great.

How many BGs are you running?

Are you just changing “Assignments” ? That really doesn’t do anything except be a visual ipsuggestion as to where people should go. It does NOT lock someone into that BG.

And, you'd have to manually remove player's defenders from their old BG (if they hadn’t done that themselves yet) if you want spots to be open for other people to join.

And in general, it does seem to keep former player's defenders in a BG for another war (or 2 ?) after they leave your alliance. Thus leadership ability to manually remove defenders.

Thanks for the help. We are running 3 BGs. I assumed it was their defenders. I’m guessing they didn’t remove them. I will make sure they have been removed. Thanks so much!
