First path of Epoch of Pain completed, ~70 revives

Nothing serious. Took the Nebula path with 6R5A Sentry and 7R3 Ironheart.

Ares took around 45 revives. A TB bundle for 1000 units helped with some team revives for the Immortal phase. Based on this run, I can save revives for a month and complete a path.

Couldn’t get a single Special Operation—hoping to get at least once in my 6th run.

Now that's a realistic run my first run was 40 ish revs too. Subsequent runs were much cheaper.

Bro what. I’ve done 3 paths and they all took less than 25 revives. My first one was around 15. I’m not hating and I understand some people might not spend a lot of time on the game, but u should really take more time learning how ares works and planning your path out before going head first

I was joking about Groot by the way.
So just to be clear: No, you cannot learn how to deal with Ares's specials by practicing against Groot.

I did watched videos and conversations mate, but that's how my skill goes. Just not getting too pressured. My eye, hand, brain does not work like MSD 😋 I watched him soloing in live.

MSD is fun to watch and entertaining, but he's not really in the business of teaching how to do fights. He's in the business of showing off while fans donate money to hype him up. (Nothing wrong with that, I'm just pointing out the dynamic and intent of the videos).
To get good tutorials I would recommend youtube channels that are more focused on teaching and showing, like jason voorhees, simula67, grassmcoc, and others...
Yap, Simula67 made the real usfull guide till now.

There's a wide range of skill levels in the game. OP seems encouraged by their progress, even if for many of us we would've yeeted our phones three towns over.
Hopefully OP can improve as they do more paths, but if they're happy with their progress then that's fine.
If anything, this post might help others also feel better about where they feel things aren't panning out the way they want them to.
You got all right :) jason voorhees run and Seatin saying just intercepting few times will eventually get you the kill took more pressure off me.

MSD 100% had early access to Ares and nobody is gonna change my mind on that.
Nobody has to. He admitted as much.

Yes, I did. Not as same as the revive offer, but still saved some units

The same offer pops up if you complete the EQ on cavalier as well, so you can buy that offer twice a month.

Haha, I'll have to check it out.
This guy is also great, he streamed a 100+ revive walkthrough and labeled it an "easy path tutorial".
I'm not trying to clown or anything, and I'm not a great player either, but all I kept thinking was, "You know, you can try at least one light intercept instead of just dashing in and dying 10 times in a row."

If we are talking someone dropping revives on content, Id suggest watching abdo. Same feeling with less shade.

It's actually a little shady because he both hinted at that, but then during the stream he acted like he was fighting him for the first time. And then lo and behold, after one death, he's nailing all the dexes left and right while we're all like, "Jesus christ, MSD, you're unbelievable!" and he's like, "Yeah. Thanks for the $100 donation!"
