Trust me if I have gotten the tech gem I would have used it on arnim zola or wait for the bastion they both are better allrounder

It's growing stronger. Prowler, Arcade, Jack, Zola, Bastion. In fact I'd put tech class on par with mutant now.

I am deciding prowler over him, I actually don't like Guardian to much, not a fan of his ramp up etc. He's awesome though, will probably even do sentinel after Prowler

Guardian is definitely a safe r4 since if his sp1 sp2 doesnt kill im BGs you have to reramp

R4 kills the same speed as a r2 honestly but it is ice to see the bigger numbers

Gladiator is really good glad he’s at a high sig as well his energy resistant is nuts

I personally wouldn't rank 4 him cause even the rank 3 feels like overkill sometimes. Still he is one of the top tech champions and if you really like him then it's a solid choice. My suggestion is to sig 200 him asap to get the most out of him.

Special 1 to ramp up force-field charges, sp2 to consume them for massive special damage. Can ramp up all the way to 99 using SP3 but that's only for long fights (Necro, Abyss, Labyrinth, etc)

He has a 15% chance per charge to auto-block, plus a flat 15% chance vs mutants

Yeah that's it. Also at max sig he has insane energy resistance (like abs in magma) and bleed resistance, very high armor so pretty tanky as well. If you parey specials he will perfect block it and get power. I hate him I feel like he's overrated but I have to agree he got some tricks.

His problem is he relies on too much things in order to obtain his damage, and didnt work in 5 consecutive BGs metas due to it. But when he works hes a solid dual champ

If Guardian relies on too much to go right to obtain damage, then that pretty much applies to almost all the attackers Kabam has released in the last 2-3 years. It's always something like
- "get to 2.9 bars of power..."
- "1.9 bars of power..."
- "then heavy cancel into a special"
- "while x charges are active, but before..."
- "then spam..."

He is one of the simpler champs to get right and not get shut down by the flow of the fight.

Sp1-sp2 will kill nearly anything at r3 in BGs and he can gain that power very fast if you can perfect block specials but aside from damage he does have decent utility he just needs max sig for it which is the main issue. At max sig however you get a decent amount of utility and he can do defenders that are currently still a problem like Domino and Bullseye.
Aside from that, it's a guaranteed win on defense if the other person doesn't have something to deal with the autoblock or his armor buff, he's too tanky and you basically can't land a single special on him you will time out.

He's not the best tech overall but he's definitely still up there imo.
