You can be an end game player and still have a hard time with him. You can also hate this type of content and just not enjoy it enough to do it but you have to miss out on rank up material because kabam only puts it in this type of content unfortunately. I personally dont find it fun.
Here’s my mini account, i used maybe 15-20 revives. This is with a 6* r3 sentry the whole way through, overseer almost soloed northstar but from there on after it was all sentry. You could do this with a r2, or even a r1 6* sentry. You can also do this with any consistent debuff applicant champion, ideally one with 3+ buffs. This is probably the easiest endgame content we will ever get, with the most reasonable healthpools and node combinations (except that heimdall, stupid heimdall). Kabam cooked with this and the Crucible. Wish they gave as much attention to other events.
Let’s see you do cassie mutant-mystic path with 6* r3
Why do a hard lane when you could do an easy one is my question? if you guys are complaining about the difficulty to explore the quest, then the answers simple really. How much of the playerbase have more than 1 7* r4?
Just did my first run. Path 6 with R2 professor X, r3 kushala, r3 werewolf.
Was told it was the hardest path, but I don't have roster for other paths.
Yet, I did the entire path and Ares in under a thousand units and still have revives left. I started with an extra 10 in overflow. Units were spent mostly on health potions.
My skill is pretty bad. I took off a year when necro came out, and just came back a couple months ago and just hit valiant like a month ago. I have never done any everest content. completed maybe 2 carinas challenges ever.
This **** was pretty easy. If I wasn't clear, I had zero experience with any of the fights as I didn't do summer of pain or whatever as I wasn't playing st the time. I spent more revives on annihilus than the rest combined.
Haven’t attempted it yet but will over Spring Break. I have been coasting and just finishing content when I get around to it. I still have most of the Necro Carina’s challenges to take care of too. Not a huge deal. I just don’t rush to get end game content done when it’s permanent and there’s no time crunch.

End game player is a weird term. You can do something for years and still not be great at it.
It does seem kind of geared to daily players that have figured out the game.
I haven’t yet, but if you decide to attack it and put in some of that practice to get your thumbs back in order, it’ll probably feel pretty good to finish. That big dopamine hit that games and gambling thrive on.
I’m definitely going to do it eventually. Not sure when yet.
I think the positive way to view something like Epoch is that it rewards serious players who have sustained engagement with the game. Those of us who did all of these fights during the AoA etc events over the past years have a much easier time rebooting the memory and preparing for this content. If I was like some of the dudes on here doing those fights for the very first time, I’d probably have a different perspective.
There’s also a negative way to look at it, of course, which I think is also valid — Carina’s, Epoch and the forthcoming Ordeal are efficient (cheap) ways for them to crank out challenging / high reward content on a rapid timeline. I do all these things because I like playing the game — despite the issues. But I’d be a lot more excited for some original fights.

Please don't tell me you're in college and will be spending spring break doing EoP instead of traveling around partying? I like playing this game obviously, but it's a distraction from the prison of family/career. If I could go back to my 20s, MCOC would be the last thing on my mind...
Just did my first run, it was not as bad as I thought. Never done the path fights before, spent the same amount of revives on Abs man and Onslaught as I did with Ares. Never managed to dex any of Ares specials, always failed the time of the light attack. Around 60 single revives and 8 team revives on the last phase, no units spent, just 300 crystals opened for revives and pots.

Easiest everest content ever released.
