So how are we feeling about Spiderpunk post buff?

So Spiderpunk has been out for a while now - even his buff has been out for a while now.

How are folks feeling about him? For the longest time I couldn’t pull him as a 6 or 7*, but managed to pull and dup him in back to back pulls so now wondering if he is worth a rank up? My 7* Science roster is one of my most stacked, but sitting on a 1-2 Science rank up gem from Epoch so giving him a definite look.

    Best Ares counter for nonskilled players like me.
    That alone is worth the R3 for me, not to mention all the BG fights he cheeses.

    Like I said, he doesn't have anything extra to offer that other top science are already giving, science is already stacked up with lots of r4 worthy candidates, hell buffed Luke Cage is above him now and 7* red Guardian is coming the moment that thunderbolts movies shows up.

    Blame Kebem for designing him as after thought.

    what about him having one of the most easily accessible and reliable taunt mechanics in the game through his encore and his counter evade with its insane range of usage to control fights like crazy with great damage to boot

    mate just cause you cant get your head out of an echo chamber doesn't mean you gotta go all ray charles on spider-punk while trying to pronounce the bird's name from Up like a toddler would.
    Exactly, lol. I mean, no one cares if PT likes Spider-Punk or not, but he's saying weird stuff like some kind of smear campaign.
    Did Spider-Punk steal his lunch money in high school?? Who gets this triggered over the mere mention of a random champ?

    He's good but I don't think he makes it to the top 10 tbh so if you have other top options you're probably better off doing the others.

    So what other options do you have? He's great but definitely not worth prioritizing over the obvious better ones. Also if your science roster is already stacked with strong attackers and you enjoy BGs, you'd probably be better off doing strong defenders like Photon Thing (high sig) or Void if you have any of them.

    He is a good champ but is overshadowed by other science beasts. Like a lot other good science champs, like ibom overseer classic spidey MR negative. All great champs rarely get used though

    His guaranteed taunt alone makes him good. With the nonsense ai nowadays it’s a great piece of utility. His damage also got a massive tune up he’s pretty good definetly top 10 science now possibly?? Science is really hard to make top 10 lists

    I like him for hie evade, power control, and dps. He’s a good Onslaught counter because of his evade (no daunted) and rupture damage

    I wouldn't say top 10 unless you aren't BGs and AW focused, if you are then Ham Silk Nefaria Hulk Photon Luke DSH Titania Thing and Void are probably the actual top 10. Even then I'd argue QS and Joe are better as well, and that's before they inevitably add Red Guardian and Cassie to the science pool which I'm confident will happen this year.
    He's good tho just yeah science class is so stacked right now.

    There’s no good reason to grind the mode rewards are meh rather just get to gamma by fighting low valiants and paragons then grind it but still 50k is what you want for high tier and if someone’s building a roster for bgs punk not who you want
