INITIAL THOUGHTS ON JEAN GREY?

She seems very good offensively definitely a great mutant (first impressions).

At this rate, mutant will be the strongest class by the end of 2025 and I'm not against it.
What are your first impressions on the FAINT Prone Telepath?

It's nature for us to compare champs from time to time, especially champions that are similar.

But they aint similar though jean has stuff for defense and offence as her delirium force field and the neuroshocks dazzler does just falter and mainly used as an attacker since her sp1 needs to make contact as a defender u can stand back and u mainly dont block her when she has the icon blue

I agree it’s just another Rock, Paper, Scissors consideration that complicates things. It’s not good or bad but it’s gonna be “fun” when you can’t bank on having a hard counter.

Which is understandable - but you Jean Grey and Dazzler are NOT similar by any measure.

I couldn't pull the 7* but I did pull the 6* and while the damage is VERY good and the utility is also VERY good, I don't see how you could pull off her rotation in under 45-50 secs so definitely good but nothing crazy. I think some people were under the impression she'd be a nuke, she's definitely not a nuke lol

My initial thought is I wasted $10 (sigil) and 3,000 units to come up empty on a Jean Grey, reminding me why I *never* do this.

What a waste. Kabam got me good with my chase for my absolute favorite character.

I was sure she'd be very fast and consistent with the time as she can throw her specials 50% faster than others due to the uncanny.
Maybe when nodes come into play she might be a Lil delayed (like everyone else) but she's supposed to be faster than your average sp1 sp2 champ.

You'd think she'd be able to since specials cost less however the thing is you have to throw a bunch of heavies, and at some point heavies stop generating power and if you don't throw heavies you can't really ramp properly. I gotta do more testing still but so far I haven't been able to really nuke anything

This is just TB EQ, and my first time fighting her, but she's definitely a staller and annoying.
I think DLL undersold her as a 3 on the defender scale. But that's not unusual for Kabam to design champs that turn out better or worse on D than they projected. Like Dust is also a 3/5 on D, whereas Mysterio is a 4/5 (lol).
Also, not sure why Juggs was getting reverse controlled here. Maybe just a glitch or is he not immune to her antics?

I didn’t read the nodes or anything and went in with Sinister. Seemed like he was mostly immune to the reverse controls but not every time. At one point, I think she put two stacks of delirium on me, which doesn’t even make sense…

When her force field is up she inflicts exhaustion debuff whenever you crit similar to captain britain. Since exhaustion is a non damaging debuff it removes his gem and as an extension his reverse control immunity as well.
You need to throw a special 1 to reactivate the gem and get to special 2 before her force field is back up.

So yeah, she's looking like a decent defender for BG.

I just looked at her abilities and I was wrong about one thing. She can inflict exhaustion debuff on critical hits even when her force field is down. Juggernaut would need to go for special 3 first to keep the gem active.
