Epoch Question - Nebula Path - Cosmic/Skill - Gladiator Option?

The Cosmic/Skill run of the Death by Debuffs path (Nebula -> Aegon) is my next up and I'm wondering whether Gladiator is an option for Adam Warlock and Aegon, because of his ability to throw heavies out of his regular combo?

I realise that he can't inflict debuffs as rapidly as other options (like Knull) but he can still inflict them reasonably well from his Heavy and specials, and by not having to dance around getting the knock-downs in might make the fights longer but easier?

Has anyone tried this? Am I just blatantly missing something?

Gladiator will only deal debuffs on his specials. Either he is bugged or his kit has an error, as his heavy places an intimidate passive and not a debuff. What are your other cosmic options?

I think any cosmic who can apply debuffs from basic attacks will probably be better than Guardian. Venom, Aarkus, Knull, Medusa… remember, the rank of the champs you use on the path really don’t matter. You just want one strong champ to deal with Ares.

No, the passive intimidate is intentional, they changed it from a debuff to a passive during rebalancing.

I think OP is more focused on the need to find openings for heavies later on that path, rather than the global debuff node.
Sentry works great because of the M to stun to Heavy, but I haven't thought about the cosmic options yet.

No, the passive intimidate is intentional, they changed it from a debuff to a passive during rebalancing.

It was one or the other. Why the text remains out of date is a great mystery.

Ah, I see. I’m already forgetting these fights. I used sentry for Adam but I wasn’t ramped enough to do the M-H thing. I just threw the heavy into his cocoon.

Thanks all - Yeah I've done the Science version already so thinking about the Cosmic/Skill version and was just musin about potential alternatives to dancing around the need to knock down, but sounds like I should just suck it up

I did just remember about Vision Arkhus though so might go that route...

No Medusa as a 6* and I'm already locking in the 2 7* sub-path for the other path so utilise Serpent whom I only have as a 6*. I also only have Odin as a 6*.

Based on this threat I'm thinking Knull, BWDO, Arkhus

I used knull, Odin and D thanos.

Knull can do every fight.

Did you have the Resonate mastery active?
There are some champs I want to use for some fights on that path that aren't as debuff heavy as Sentry/Photon or Knull, and I'm wondering if Resonate will help.

Knull can destroy everything on that path, especially if you have Odin. Even just hitting in their block

I brought odin for this path specifically.
