Serpent can disable prefights too??

This is a Plat 4 war and this is the serpent:

As you can see I enabled my prefight:

Then boom! When the fight begins Not only am I applying posions instead of shocks but I also don't have my immunity:

Is this a bug or is Serpent just that op? I kind of think its unfair to undo the player's prefights.

U have to make sure symbol is there if u dont see it back out then reenter war

You are correct. After 2 deaths because of this on my third, I got lucky and the symbol appeared. Thats kind of not too player-friendly that, that is how it works. I doubt I'll ever see any comp from this either.

Its been like it for a while where after u tap pre fight just double check if u see the icon before tapping then if u dont just back out then return to the map its like the issue where cross fights will be removed if u crash or force close
