Grandmaster's Gauntlet of Victims: A guide to the Ordeal

Man, hibernation was fantastic... until Kabam woke me up again lol. Time for a guide to the Ordeal!
The Squad:
7* R3 unduped serpent with 5* ms marvel relic
7* R3 sig 140 onslaught with 6* sinister relic
7* R2 sig 20 deathless she hulk with no relic (should've brought one in retrospect)
7* R2 unduped wiccan with no relic
7* R3 sig 200 guardian with 5* hulkbuster relic (guardian should ideally be sig 200 for him to work well against domino. He also provides a nice block proficiency bonus to everybody so there's no shame in bringing him along)
The Stash:
4953 units
24 L1 revives
43 L2 revives
2 L2 team revives
Whole bunch of L3 and L4 potions, think I had around 200 combined for both
32 L5 potions
539 free crystals
Lots of boosts which once again went unused. Gotta stop doing this to myself.
Masteries:
Same as my other challenge runs, so no suicides with willpower and pacify. Despair is ABSOLUTELY NEEDED so you can get through sasquatch.
Journey to Thanos:
Fight: Doctor Doom
My pick: Onslaught
Deaths: 0
Very easy fight, Onslaught is an XL champ so he completely counters the glancing. Try to push Doom to sp2 so you can avoid having to play around his aura. Mind bubble shield and go crazy with your neuroshocks and degens.
Fight: Terrax
My pick: Wiccan
Deaths: 1
This fight is a bit of a sketchy one, especially if your Wiccan is low rank. Build your spells as normal, and make sure you spam sp1 as you can regenerate all of the energy damage from the rock field. However, Terrax's rock field hits so hard here that even with the regen you'll still have to back off every now and then to not die. Got rekt once due to him randomly walking up and light attacking me.
Fight: Vision
My pick: Deathless she hulk
Deaths: 0
Not bad once you get into it, though if you get really unlucky with trauma RNG and AI you might be in trouble. Make sure Vision keeps using specials to keep the traumas up, and remember that the sp2 wither can reverse the synthesis power gain. If you don't trust the AI (which is understandable), use a sp3 to give the traumas increased duration before you start sp2 spamming.
Fight: Modok
My pick: Serpent
Deaths: 0
Not a bad fight. Know how to dex Modok's sp1 and spam your sp1 since it deals increased damage. When it comes to dealing with the auto block, if you have Modok cornered, you can just keep attacking in after he auto blocks, most of the time he'll either release block and get hit or hold block, though do be careful as he can throw a special immediately after he auto blocks.
Fight: Spider-Ham
My pick: Serpent
Deaths: 0
This one's very long and very intense, since Spam is very defensive, has double power gain, is debuff immune, and hates throwing his sp1. Serpent can counter the evade with his true focus, but be very open when baiting the sp1 and if you get cornered you are in big trouble. However, Spam applies taunt on his sp1, which provides a good source of willpower healing if you play well.
Fight: Weapon X
My pick: Onslaught
Deaths: 0
Nothing too special node-wise, though this obviously is still a bit tricky because it's Weapon X. Play around berserk and try to keep your degens and neuroshocks paused when you can. Even if you do get hit Onslaught doesn't take bleed damage so you have a decent chance at surviving.
Fight: Thing
My pick: Serpent
Deaths: 0
Not a hard fight if you can play around the rock stacks, though this one is a longer one due to oscillate as well as Thing's protection as you'll be constantly triggering it once you ramp your furies up. For managing the rock stacks, remember that Serpent has 7 hits on his sp1 and 4 hits on his sp2.
Fight: Korg
My pick: Onslaught
Deaths: 0
Easily one of the hardest fights here if you don't have Onslaught or Professor X. If you do, this fight is one of the easiest. Play around mix master and the rock shield, evade Korg's sp1, and you'll be good to go. Remember that Onslaught can apply a passive stun if his parry gets shrugged off, so use this to keep your damaging effects paused. Heal up for this one as gauss warp makes the block damage very intense if it goes too long.
Fight: Dragon Man
My pick: Deathless she hulk
Deaths: 1
Not a hard fight on paper, but after a while aspect of evolution makes this fight incredibly scary. Block the sp1 to remove the power charge and gain some willpower healing via the ineptitude, and manage the power gain as best you can. Mind the stun immunity and you'll be okay. Died once due to block damage.
Fight: BPCW
My pick: Wiccan, then Serpent
Deaths: 1
Didn't have any more use for Wiccan so I threw him at this one. With Wiccan, make sure your neutralize stays up at all times so you can prevent footloose and the unblockable from triggering. Do not parry BP while he has his matrix active and be wary of the cleanse charges from his sp1. Took off 70% with Wiccan here. With Serpent, spam sp1 as the fear debuff can turn off the unblockable, aside from that just play around footloose and the other nodes.
Fight: Nightcrawler
My pick: Serpent
Deaths: 0
Use Serpent, throw a sp1 to counter the evade, win. Joke of a fight.
Fight: Spider Gwen
My pick: Serpent
Deaths: 0
Same thing as Nightcrawler except you can't parry. Once you survive to throw a special the fight should be yours. Don't be afraid to block and bait heavies at the start if you need to.
Fight: Domino
My pick: Guardian
Deaths: 0
Mentioned it before and I'll mention it again: Guardian MUST be VERY HIGH SIG for this fight to work at all as it massively mitigates the crit failure damage. Bait sp1 to rapidly build your power. Build up your force field charges with the sp3 (think I used 3 of them), then drop a massive sp2 to hopefully one shot her. Play around limber, and make sure to throw a heavy before you drop the sp2 so you can keep your armor buff in case she doesn't die.
Fight: Mojo
My pick: Deathless she hulk, then Onslaught to finish
Deaths: 4
Easily the worst fight on the path. Mojo completes a prompt every 20 seconds, which in turn triggers the anti life field constantly. Once he completes 5 prompts, he starts placing hater buffs and hitting you with degen. Every time you die, he requires 1 less prompt to start placing hater buffs, so make sure you are FULLY HEALED for every try or else you'll get smacked. Took off 60% with she hulk, then slugged through the rest with Onslaught since I thought she hulk wouldn't be able to ramp the damage fast enough.
Fight: Immortal Abomination
My pick: Deathless She hulk
Deaths: 0 (though I had to revive her after Mojo)
Not a hard fight, though do be careful as the trauma debuffs make Ibom hit insanely hard due to the sadist node. Bait sp1 and try not to block too much, his sp1 applies petrify to you so use that for some free willpower healing.
Fight: Apocalypse
My pick: Guardian
Deaths: 0
Apoc starts the fight with 4 charges against Heroes, so be careful of the parry immunity and Apoc's stun through block. Parry as many special hits as possible with Guardian to ramp your power, throw a couple of sp3s and then blow him up with a sp2.
Fight: Sasquatch
My pick: Deathless she hulk
Deaths: 0
Knock Sasquatch down constantly to increase the lifecycle timer, mind the disorients, and stay close during Sasquatch's sp1 so you can punish it and maintain your traumas. The sp2 withers can reverse power snack so use that if the power gain becomes a problem. Mind the stun immunity and unstoppable during wrath of tanaraq and you'll be good. Despair completely turns the healing off once you ramp your traumas, so once you are ready to kill him, knock him down to disable lifecycle, then throw a special immediately as it will kill even through block.
Fight: Killmonger
My pick: Onslaught
Deaths: 0
Be ready for a huge endurance test. You can't gain power in this fight, however Onslaught counters the reverb damage very well and the bleeds on block give you free healing. Ramp your neuroshocks, keep them paused constantly, and watch them very slowly tick away. Mind Killmonger's power gain whenever you apply your daunted debuffs or parry. Slow and steady wins the race here.
Fight: Void
My pick: Serpent, then a botched try with Guardian, then Onslaught to finish
Deaths: 3
Use heavy attacks to keep Void away and prevent long distance relationship from triggering. Mind Void's personal debuffs and time your combo to counter it. Serpent and Onslaught deal big damage here as power shield massively boosts their red numbers and damaging effects, however this fight still has a load of fun and interactive damage. You will die.
Fight: Nick Fury
My pick: Onslaught
Deaths: 0
Very easy. Use kinetic transference to your advantage and push Fury to sp2 to minimize his tactical charges. Ramp your degen and neuros and tear him to pieces.
Fight: Thanos aka Nameless aka Nameless Thanos aka Deathless Thanos aka... I give up
My picks: Literally everybody
Deaths: 6, used a team revive here.
Phase 1 can be cheesed by Onslaught since he doesn't take bleed damage. For everyone else, wait out the bleed aura, then hold block and make sure Thanos doesn't throw a special attack to prevent it from coming back.
Phase 2 can be cheesed by Serpent since he counters the evade via his true focus. For everyone else, mind the degen and evade timer, and once again hold block to prevent Thanos from throwing a special. If he does throw it, make sure you know what projectiles are real (they are the ones with the orange trails). Remember Thanos goes stun immune from 40% health onwards.
Phase 3 is an AI shitshow. Intercept Thanos to get the safeguard, then deal as much damage as you can before he throws a sp3. After that, intercept again to get the safeguard, then rinse and repeat until someone dies. Be prepared for Thanos to randomly walk up and light attack you when you try to intercept.
And that's it! Overall it is not a bad experience, especially compared to something like Epoch of Pain. Very straightforward with some good team building.
The Final Cost:
5 L2 revives
1 L2 team revive
My entire potion stash
Not a single unit (again).
No boosts (mistakes were once again made).
The Rewards:
Took Onslaught up to R4 with the T7 catalysts. He is now my second R4 after Silk.
Awakened Sorcerer Supreme from my 7* Nexus (yes, it was THAT bad).
Pulled Dazzler from my titan nexus and took her straight to R2. Epic.
Reached Level 62 with the XP tokens, got all the rewards except the increase to T5CC inventory (Kabam PLEASE PLEASE fix this soon).
Final Thoughts and Tips
1. This quest has the exact same defenders and nodes as the original Grandmaster's Gauntlet, Ordeal just tunes them up quite a bit. Running the original quest with your planned team can be very helpful in preparing for your Ordeal run.
2. BOOST. Don't think I need to explain this one anymore.
3. PLEASE LET ME HIBERNATE IN PEACE NOW KABAM. Love this game and all, but I haven't had a chill period in this game for a minute.
Grootman is now very sleepy and will now return to dormancy. Thanks for reading, and hope this helped y'all!

Also, I'm glad you put so much effort into your run. I just saw how many revives I had and said, " well I don't care. I'm just reviving my way through it if need be".
Congrats on getting it done.
Even though I don’t understand why rol doesn’t change
