Improvement for training mode

I get a good laugh every time I see the "training grounds" mode in the game. There is only the option for parrying, but it's a quick tutorial that doesn't really explain all that much.
Probably not a revolutionary idea, but I do believe that the training grounds could be improved, as something both for beginners, as well as endgame players that might sometimes feel bored. After all, many of us like to bully the RoL winter soldier just to test out a new champion.
And so, the game could introduce two new modes. "Training grounds" and a "playground".
In the training grounds, maybe there would be an option to practice parrying regular and non-contact attacks, re-parrying, dexing certain special attacks. If it was possible, we could even get an option to practice specific nodes from the game, to test out which champions work for it or not, before going into a quest and wasting energy.
And if that would work, then the playground mode would probably also do. Something similar to the CCP beta, with giant healthpools to really see the potential ramp up of certain champions, without hitting a damage cap or killing them too quickly. Additionally, just as in the training ground, we could test out specific nodes, combine them, just have fun with things like Icarus or Power Shield.
Personally, a lot of the time I just feel like there isn't any content to do just for the sake of the fun of it. When I'm getting a new champion, there is no solid place to play around with them and learn their moveset and how they can be useful.
