I can't wait for people to finally get 7 star apocalypse and realise that he's not as good as people hype him up to be
He might be a good stall in BGs
Is that literally all people want? A 6 star can already do that
a 7* has block penetration and greater stats + health
But enough to make a difference. The resources required to get him above the level of a 6r5a for a slightly better defender can't be ignored here.
There are plenty of tech and non tech attackers that can handle him, his value is primarily in his pre fight which is not going to be improved by being a7 star and is locked behind 2 fights or 40 units and a synergy. I really struggle to see how a7 star apocalypse is going to impact the game as it is in 2025

A 7* apoc really helps in AW if you bring a mutant team and plan to make someone a horseman. He can also take HS nodes, and also has unique immunity to disorient. He also has easy access to bleed and poison that helps against Stun reflect nodes in AW. A lot of Utilities I'll say

Also can bypass evade but he needs a ramp up for that.
last year i believe had some 7* crystals for cash plus a unit based milestone track that included more 7* crystals, bunch of rng valiant crystals, and a bunch more goodies (100 sigs, AG, champ selector).

In any big content having to risk 10 evades is hardly something to shout about
You know a champ is amazing when people only use him to make their actual good champs better. I didn't even know Apoc was a playable character until today; I thought he was some kind of boost you buy from the loyalty store.

Lol y'all change the goal post every damn time??? "You know a champ is amazing when you only use em to make your good champs better" You just made that up πππ
Apocalypse is nothing more than a synergy piece in 2025 and that is perfectly fine. There's nothing he offers as a standalone mutant that nearly 10 other mutants cannot do better.
Maybe he was one of the GOATS in 2020 when questing was prevalent but its 2025 and the game has long shifted from that. He may see some use when 9.2 drops (AS A SYNERGY PIECE) or some defensive uses as I do think he is quite tanky but that's as good as it gets for him.

Everyone seems to move the goalposts, and inconsistently I might add.
Some players argue that Rulk is not trash (even though other Science can do what he does) because of how simple but effective he is, but here the argument is that Apoc is trash because other Mutants can do what he does.
Apoc is great, I want him as a 7-star much more than Iβd want a 7-star Nick Fury (having a 7-star version just to be a bigger Skill terror in a niche mode is not for me. And I would not want to use a 30% health champion to counter evade and be unblockable when I can bring a tanky Mole Man or Shang Chi it)..
Apoc has access to different damage types through basics and specials. Disorient immunity is still a relevant node counter. Stun by hitting block is still a useful way to be able to knockdown.
And yes, he has amazing synergies. Not just the horseman stuff, but his normal ones. I mean, randomly Spiral gets to have an extra 2 seconds on her ruptures. Mister Sinister gets even more godly while Apoc can still tag in if there is a polka dot power and power shield fight.

7r3 or forsaken 7r4 Apocalypse will be menace everywhere π
They always say no herc because it would be too easy.
Herc is obviously amazing and these folk are way better than I, but I want to see one with herc to see how amazing.
Because I donβt think it would be as easy as people think.
Honestly I think NF and Apoc are similar level champs. One is great on defence and the other enhances mutants by a mile.
