Quick thoughts on 9.2 (if anyone cares)

Normal player with average or below average skill chiming in after exploring it.
Likes:
1) I liked it more than 9.1. Scourge was integrated a lot better.
2) Fun paths that were fun to figure out without watching 30 minutes of guides. For instance, after a few tries on the unstoppable/unblockable path (9.2.2 I think), I realized miles can heavy cheese it.
3) good mix of easy paths if you have the right champs or mastery setup (mystic dispersion) and paths that require you to play well even with the right champs.
4) mini bosses without the need for YouTube guides also A+
5) final boss fight was fun in general. Definitely needed YouTube guides here.
Not so likes:
1) if relics are going to be vital to disable nodes, let’s eventually fix the relic whiff and defender insta block when activated.
2) not a fan of mandatory intercepting when it’s an acknowledged known issue that you are going to lose some you should win
3) I personally thought the encroaching stun trap node was too cute. I got better the second time through the fight and this trap node was my last time through. I tried to play around it, then just decided to ignore it and revive as needed. I don’t find that “fun” but again, my skill level doesn’t find things like the Aries fight “fun” either.

If it’s not that, and the team just went ahead full steam with full knowledge of oft-documented gameplay issues, players are due a little apology.
I will add, though, that most of the fights through 9.2.5 (haven’t touched 9.2.6 yet) aren’t hard with a decent 7* counter. There are a few sticky ones, but mostly manageable with a little finesse.
Perhaps that’s why there’s not a “sorry we made you use relics/intercepts when we know they aren’t really 100% working” message.

Not even to mention the bugs with them
