Unluckiest RNG for 7* HOF crystals

Basically, I’m wondering how unlucky I am to pull 3 Apocs in a row from 7* HOF crystal…. I was wondering whether it’s a 20% chance or if it’s a 0.08% chance. I put the same Apoc photo 2 times because I crashed out and didn’t take a photo of the 3rd one. Now to the main point, why did Kabam remove the boxes when it was generally better for the player base? I remember Kabam saying they are swapping to the key boxes like banquet and valentines days to avoid issues like this? Why the sudden change? If anyone actually wants to see the proof that I pulled Apoc 3 times, I’m more than willing to dig up the webstore purchase + solo objective….

    This was just a small mini rant that I had after wondering why Kabam didn’t stick to their box kind of event….

    You're rolling a 1 in 5 three times in a row, so what you're looking at here is 1/125 for any 3 exact outcomes, or 0.8% rather than 0.08. I expect aroundabout the same chance of pulling any one particular champ from the 7* pool at this point - not the unluckiest thing we've ever seen.

    Out of 4 crystals:
    • Chance to pull Apocalypse exactly 3 times: 20/1296
    • Chance to pull Apocalypse exactly 4 times: 1/1296
    • Chance to pull Apocalypse at least 3 times: 21/1296 = 0.0162 = 1.62%
    For comparison, this is actually higher than the chance to pull a 7* Heart of Fire champion from a Valiant HOF crystal (1.5%).
    I feel your pain though. I agree the box key is a better system.

    yeah, I don’t get why they suddenly removed the box for no reason. I’m pretty sure the community would have been much happier with the box

    Nope, I got much better spins on HOF than the 2 box keys I had for free from the previous events

    I've got sig 60 on both apoc and ibom coming out of this one, pulled them vastly more than any other champ
