Double Track catchup

I am a returning Player and just got Valiant today. Now I am thinking of buying the Platinum Pass, but i am only at Day 32 at the Gold Pass. So i wanted to ask if i get the Double Track Event Boost does that also push my Gold Track Progress forward? Or is that purely progressed with the Daily objectives.

    The boosts will progress you through both tracks.
