Battlegrounds GC scoring

Can someone explain the scoring.

Sometimes it’s +16 a win other times it’s +15
Likewise for loosing. -15 or -14

Also if everyone is on the same score how does ranking work for this? Number of matches played??

It depends on the difference between the scores of you and your opponent

The points you win or lose depend on how close your opponent's rating is to yours. At the top, players in C4 and above often have to match players with much lower rating, and might only get +2 for a win or -20 for a loss.

Punching down and winning is expected, so you get less credit. Punching up and winning is surprising, so your rating goes higher faster. Etc.

There are likely hidden decimal places on your true rankings that are rounded off for display, but affect the rankings for "tied" scores.
