So he's gonna be the trophy champ for the J4 sale.
What do people think?
The fact that he doesn't need awakening or sig stones is a plus for me.

Every single mystic defender is quaking in their boots rn.
I'm more concerned all good 7* are getting paywalled. First red guardian, then hof (partially paywalled) and now HT. Not mad, but let's hope they'll stop here and start releasing other top of the class champs in regular/titan crystal.

Paywalled at first* they'll eventually make it to the basic at some point.
I mean, we *still* don't even have Omega Days champions and that's been a year. Still no Nightcrawler, CMM, or Sinister who were chase champs.

And CMM was literally *just* featured in another "spend 10,000 units to get her" event - so I feel like that "eventually" is years away.

Apparently the chase champs are going to be obtainable this year through some alliance event

Yo thats crazy lmao every champ thats f2p attainable is mid as hell like mr fantastic but all the OP strong champs are behind paywall gates. Even these dumb eidols that will probably be required to unlock a final OP eidol similar to Thanos

If someone is going to spend over $1000 for Alpha tier champs like HT, NF, FAM. They should be available in the titan in 18 months and in basic in 30 months. This goes for Alpha Tier special chase champs like Deathless Thanos. Anytime sooner is a disservice to spenders.

Also, Sinister is OP and was free. So was DThanos

luma isnt op but hes definitely a solid attacker and decent defender , isomid is trash. also depends if they release a quest to unlock a final eidol thats OP the way they did with thanos and deathless.

Red Guardian is OP and he was in a paywall, so will Torch.

Nightcrawler and CMM were free and theyre extremely mid. Mr Fantastic fits that bucket as well.

about this torch thing and paywalling in general, i don't necessarily like but it's very smart and i'd do it as well. there's a market for it so why shouldn't they?

for some reason i do miss how 6*s were released though and their lifespan, even though rankups, catalysts, and shards were relatively rare back then.

i think with these 7*s, we are spoiled with the old unreleased greats and they're taking advantage of that of that need.

overall though, their release structure of 7*s has been pretty good and in many ways more accessible than the past. they could easily stuff nick fury or omega red into some valiant crystal for a 0.2% chance but they give players a chance to get them.

and i think in general...the game has shifted away from generalists to needing the right tools for the right fights, so these champions aren't as important as they used to be. i can't speak for BGs though they're important there.
