Titan Crystal pool

I only have 1 of 10th year Carina challenges left which means I can get a nexus titan Crystal, but I want this titan Crystal to have the upcoming pool.
My question is should I wait a week to do last challenge and get titan Crystal then or will the pool change even if I already have the crystal.
