The last side quest didn’t have 2 instances. I’ve always hated this format of side quest. The “get the keys here” to “unlock the gates” here. They usually give us an extra in case something like that happens tho.

Just thought it would be logical for the quest with 4 gates to be run 4 times…that kinda seems like it makes sense

I guess be glad they aren't difficult fights in that case. Easy pickings for the solo milestones.

It depends on the quest and rewards. The first quest, do top level to complete the objective and get titan shards. The second quest, go for whatever rewards you want. I don’t care about 25 dust so I hunted for crystal shards in multiple levels now that they’re valiant crystals.

That is why I let other people always run the side quest first on Wednesday. Because I have no idea what's going on. I just want to jump in so do, not read and study.

Yea to be fair that was posted before I noticed the sq crystals were valiant ones now. Then again, I already know I'll most likely pull a 5* anyways so....back to square 1.

I'm all for Kabam trying different things for SQ, but I think the format for consuming whatever the entry resource is should at least be consistent in that respect.

I run to yell? I’ve actually been really enjoying the valiant EQ and literally posted about how they listened to us with the shard valiants ☠️. I’ve had nothing to complain about but this isn’t a good design for a side quest…period

Again, I said that. However, they usually give us an extra. That’s why it’s just unfortunate. But you would think the “do quest 4 times” goes with the quest with 4 paths. Not that far fetched

Well if it was standard practice I would still have the 4th serum to run it a 4th time🤣. He’s talking about putting the gate that uses the “serum” or whatever key is required for that side quest at the end rather than requiring for entry

I’m with OP. The SQ are needlessly varied and complex. And neither the complexity nor the variety add any entertainment value at all. It’s just a hassle. I don’t want to have to think about a side quest.

There's no harm in letting people restart if they haven't finished the path and collected any rewards.

Here I was thinking that 4 serums were used to run threat 5 twice and threat 4 twice. Entered threat 4 then realized I screwed up, it consumed the serum but I did no fights and got no mysterium. Only to figure out we only got the exact # and no extra serum this week. So not only did I miss 6k mysterium but 2k titan shards bc I thought it would surely be the 2nd step quest we would need to run 4 times….that HAS 4 paths

So you’re ranting because you either can’t read or because you don’t understand what you read?
