Why 6 stars are still viable

Against a R2 Peni. 6 stars still have their uses especially when it comes to champs like Hulking. However, did feel just a bit slow

Their viability is relative.. just depends on the context
R4 Peni may have been different, but an R2 7 is the rough equivalent to a maxed 6

Well yeah it depends on your place in the game. If you're an advanced valiant player facing only r3s+ in BGs, then 6*s won't cut it

Champs like Hulkling, AA, n Kate, sure… but in general, 98% pretty useless against good players with strong rosters.

Are they viable? Yes some of them that will stop being viable as soon as they release a 7*. Also you probably picked a fight with the perfect counter to use as an example.

A r2 is slightly worse stats wise than a r5a 6*. The stats of a r5a 6* are equal to a r3 level 1 7* version of themselves.

Also it was silly of the opponent to throw peni on defense when you have hulkling when she does really nicely on offense because parrying conflictor with her sync shield up doesn't give the opponent power.

I've had many wins with my offensive r4 peni parker. She is also nice when at a decent sig for the 7* NFs running around too.

When my opponent have a 7-Star Enchantress and still ban my 6-Star R2.

Oh yeah fosho. I was just saying certain 6 stars still have their matchups and can prove decent enough to keep in BGs decks

It was all they had left defensively I think. They had the upper hand with silk against my rintrah. A r3 Peni would have just been a slightly longer fight. R4 Peni is awesome

Lots of people in GC still use Hulkling in their deck.
And depending on the meta, several 6s can be very viable.
Like in this upcoming invade meta, I expect to see several 6s in people's decks, even in Celestial.

Actually, tbf there is a temporary period when 6 stars can be viable even in R3+ decks.. when a new defender is super new still
Can give end game players something to use dust on if they want a short term investment
I think a few of us maxed 6 star CapB to at the very least put pressure to draft techs if nothing else
