How is this still one of Kabam's biggest issues?

It seems crazy to me that Kabam does regular updates on the Trello boards, but has only provided the community with one update on the AI update within the half-year since they admitted it had been broken for some time. I really don't understand why Kabam has such an extremely hard time gripping the concept of communication, especially when it's literally the entire gameplay aspect of MCOC that we're waiting for an overhaul to. Every single fight you've ever fought/will fight in the game was/will be against the AI, so why are they being so secretive in sharing what's actually going on with it? I'm just asking for communication here- they already do a weekly forum post updating the community with the progress on Trello board issues. I'm not looking for another essay of a post like they made in April- I just think the community deserves to get updates on how far along the project actually is. They still haven't even given us an estimated timeframe, but instead they just quoted their favorite Jimmy Eat World song and said "It's gonna take some time".

Just a weird but genuine fact I just realized to leave this post off:
We've genuinely gotten significantly more communication about the community's anger towards Wheel of Fate within the past week than we have about the AI update in the past 6 months. Food for thought.
