Should older champs who are made available as 7*'s, be placed in the basic instead of the Titan?

Been seeing some serious disappointment, and regrets over pulling duds from the Titan.

Titan crystals are extremely valuable, and for a lot of players, are still rare and not easy to get. Many are disappointed, and feel they are wasted when pulling an outdated or useless champ from the Titan, such as Red Hulk.

So I'm wondering.....if they're not going to be a brand new champ, buffed, or Saga chase champ, maybe Kabam can just make announcements introducing them as 7*'s, and instead of putting them in the Titan, send them straight to the basic?

Or maybe there could be some type of specialty "Throwback" 7* crystal or selector available to players, so that those who actually want them can get them that way instead of from a hard earned Titan.

    While this is definitely one of the better Titans in recent memory, it’s still not the point of the Titan crystal. Everyone wants the biggest and best out of it. But the reality is it’s the crystal introducing the newest 7*s. Good, bad, old, new. It’s literally an introduction crystal. And people still get mad about that.

    I mean, what you're asking for is already happening with the way the Titan crystals work for the most part now.

    In the new Titan they added 5 "new" characters (including the cyclops buff) that don't yet exist outside of it, PLUS Galan. That's it. And anyone complaining about pulling Galan should have to lose their highest rated champion.

    I think only great Basic 6* Champs should be added into The Titan pool such as champs like.
    Absman
    Dr. Doom
    Hulkling
    Kate Bishop
    Kingpin
    Zemo
    Scorpion
    AA
    Cassie
    BWCV
    Nimrod
    Ghost
    Wolverine but id like a Buff.
    This is pretty much all thats left to enter the 7* Pool as Powerful champs go imo.

    The titan is designed for new 7 stars to enter that pool first before entering the basic so you have a period of time to better target them if you need to. Sure some are worse than others but they're still new as 7 stars

    Yes and no. I think it would be cool to have a community vote every cycle for 1-2 champs in the basic to be in both the basic and the titan (again if they were already in it). For example, for the next titan change the community could vote from all the champs in the basic and it would prob end up being like serpent and onslaught or something like that. But at least an opportunity to vote would even the playing field bc it could end up being someone that you wouldn’t expect - I know a lot of people who can’t pull or dupe Attuma 🤷🏽‍♂️. Just an idea who knows

    If it were the same you'd still pick Shang over Kate if Kate released today and Shang was hot at the moment.

    Shang won because he was HOT at the time and Kate was relatively a new champ which the CCP played terribly. They barely stacked her coldsnaps and just cycled threw arrows which made her damage seem weak.

    Had it not been for necro, it would've taken a while longer for the community to realize Kate's potential.
    You can even go watch her deep dive dmg rotation and see for yourself. Not even kabam knew what they were doing and how to play her. She was showcased so poorly so I don't even blame CCP.
    First impressions of her were that she was an okay champ while Shang was a top 5 skill at the time. Now let me ask you, would you pick a new champ who you view as "Alright" over someone like okoye today even tho they have some hidden rotation that you don't know about? I'm guessing No.

    Also, the community knows better and would unanimously choose the champ who they view as best. The only disagree would come if it were two champs who are relatively great and offer different things which would make it a selection of preference. Eg viv vs cassie

    The community is not stupid. They're not picking a Carnage or cull over a Hulkling.

    I think it's unfortunate that champs like rulk are added but that's also some OP 6* champs not as 7* yet, like Galam who has been added to the titan

    Realistically, the question isn't add to titan or straight to basic... right now it's add to titan or pay wall the sh*t out of them 😂

    Not enough titan shards to justify their inclusion. Instead of putting them behind a paywall Kabam should introduce a quest where you can earn them through challenges.

    This post poses a valid counterargument until you realize there arent that many rintrah or galan level 7* left that they can add, and no theyre most likely not going to add hulkling, scorpion , or kate unless its behind some form of paywall like next years HoF

    You're never going to see a Featured Crystal without a range of Champs. That defeats the whole purpose of having an RNG system.

    What champs are restricted to only champs in the titan?
    Against Bullseye, u Need in Round 3 #2025 champs, against Dust, only have Kraven, that's a problem to me, Will wait for friday and the offers

    I Kabam was not seeing a probelm with dropping so many Red Hulks. Is Red Hulk one of the champs you need???
