WAR Final Standings Delay

Should we plan on a lengthy delay to war rewards since a much greater number of alliances will need to be docked due to all the bannings that happened this season?

i'm down for a 3-7 day delay in rewards every season if it cleans up the leaderboard. not sure how the community feels about it but it's good for players and good for the game.

It just seems like dozens of alliances in the top 100 have used cheaters for years now and finally they took a first step.Time to hold alliances responsible. Not do what they did with the arena ban a few years ago where they gave the most egregious cheaters and alliances a 7 day vacation and top tier gifts/rewards when they got back from vacation.

The docking always happens without delaying rewards. It's the adjusting the leaderboard that takes time, which is also why rewards are never delayed, because they never actually adjust the leaderboards. I wouldn't expect these rewards to be delayed.

don't you want to know that the work you put in wasn't wasted away on cheating alliances? from a game health perspective, it cleans it up and on the plus side you might even get extra rewards.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there wasn’t any further “docking” of points from the ban waves that were a result of the “not authorized” downloads, etc.

Being banned had already cost their alliances plenty of points, and these particular bans were not necessarily because of actual detected cheating in AW itself (as “docking” cases in the past may have been).

But I don't have any insight whether that will be the case.

I would not expect an alliance to get docked because they had a member get banned. AW docks are reserved for cheating that was observed in that mode. There have been numerous instances in the past where top alliances have needed to replace a member who was banned in season for areas cheating, etc and the alliance didn't get docked. Plus, we already know that many bans were reversed. Surely those alliances should not get penalized twice for a mistake by Kabam. The alliance already suffered when the player couldn't complete the war and likely lost at least one war.

Tldr: it is too complex to sort, no docks for bans

I thought second ban wave was piloting or sharing and such.
