Quest 1 should have not been gaited at all. Also the rewards for quest 1 is literally like Nothing For the effort and fight. I think Kabam needs to buff rewards if they are going to let the difficult and gates same or remove gates.

Did you just say it is the same reason they buffed act 5 rewards? They're buffing the rewards there because new players are struggling too much in act 6 and need a little more power to get over that hurdle. Last I checked, no endgame content rewards have ever been changed. Labyrinth, abyss, necro, and epoch all have the same rewards as on release. I doubt kabam will make any changes to this wheel of Fate and they will take the input given and make changes on the next one of the iteration if there is a next one.

If they change wheel of Fate rewards, I imagine a fair portion of the community will just expect that they can complain about content to try and get the rewards buffed because that happened once so they will try to make it happen again.

Yes there did replace like 50k 6 stars shard for a abyss nexus so there did take away to. Remember that’s. And there did it 3 months or 2 months after release.

Just like Act 6 exploration it’s gonna have to wait till after the 4th for anything that adds units and decreases spending.

This content cost less revives and items than necro/epoch exploration costed at the time of their release. Maybe that's why we have less rewards.

I'd agree with the guys who have done it.(ignoring anyone who hasn't). They missed 3 importat Rewards. Refind xp, sigs and low tier Cats/gems.

Yes there's a lack of units in these content for some reason. If Kabam can give an odin and a half worth of units to players banned for 3 days it's safe to say adding 1k or 500 units to everest content ACTUALLY KEEP THEM FRESHED for end game players to try even if they hadn't.

I have some issues with the rewards and just how they designed the quest in general, but I don't think anything actually have to change. I just hope Kabam takes note of the constructive feedback and balances things better next time.

Since we're talking about Lag's video, I'll copy and paste the comment I made under it.

Some thoughts:

* Having 30% of a single 7* crystal as a reward for Quest 1 is ridiculous. Just...what? That's soooo strange to me.

* Nothing will ever convince me that Human Torch and Thor Ragnarok weren't originally supposed to be in the Quest 3 selector before someone came up with the idea to instead use Human Torch as a way to make bank during the July 4th sale and therefore yanked him from the selector. Having two champions in that selector that you couldn't get anywhere else would have made it so much more valuable. Sure, if you didn't have a Bullseye or some other champion among the "standard" choices, you could grab them; but you could also grab a completely new champion who you knew wouldn't be available anywhere else, thus giving the selector the guaranteed value that I think Kabam thinks it already has. Instead, they made one of the coolest crystals we've ever seen in the game, and filled it with an amazing selection of unbelievably valuable champions...if you don't have them. But that's the crux, right? Who can get through that quest without having those champions to begin with? In fact, a lot of them are the very counters that you NEED for the various fights.

* I'll also die on the hill that they waited far too long to introduce 7* awakening gems to be able to treat it like a top prize in this type of content. Out of all of my 25 rank 3 and 4 champions, only two are unawakened. Simply speaking, awakening gems aren't really a hot commodity for me any longer. I would like a Mutant one to awaken my Mr. Sinister, but that's about it. Another problem is the continued lack of 7* sig stones. They come at a very weird pace, either all at once or never at all. That makes it hard to justify popping an awakening gem on someone, if I won't be able to sig them up anyway. Unless they have a Nick Fury-level sig-1-and-done type of awakened ability, I'd rather hold off until I can actually invest sig stones into them.

All of that being said, I did actually quite enjoy the content as such. I've only done the first quest so far, but it was relatively fun. Some fights were just annoying, but I also got quite a lot of solos or single-revive wins. Unfortunately, the rewards for the first quest didn't really move the needle for me in any way when it came to prepare for the second (and third) quest, so...yeah, that was fun, I guess.

Totally agree with this. I remember earlier when the Carina challenges came out with loads of generic sigs, I barely had 4-5 duped 7 stars and I ended up sigging r1s like Overseer. Now that I have quite a few of them r3/r4 that I want to sig but I have zero sig stones to feed them.

Honestly, I don't think the content itself is bad. I've done quest 1 and 2 and it's pretty enjoyable and quite okay if you ask me. Problem for me is the rewards are tasteless and not encouraging enough for such a content.

Honestly I've already done it so my opinion is irrelevant. I still think it's terrible, it's not by any means hard, it's just restrictive and doesn't reward you for your time.

If they really paused and considered the hype messaging… and HT being in there… that woulda made a big difference.

Ultimately it’s content that can be done at the cost of potions, which really aren’t used much these days, and you get an R4… it’s perfectly mid and will be skippable for its target audience in about 5 days

With J4 starting end of next week, the rewards aren't worth it. Especially if you only have the roster for 1st run through. Those will probably end up costing $10 usd, maybe 500 units. Personally, I have the roster to do all 3 passes, just choosing not to. Especially that Lady D. Plenty of grass out there...

I have 100% completed WOF because of an overflow of revives and because I know that ALREADY the rewards are hardly worth it, imagine if I waited a few months. Either now or never. I just have a few comments and do hope that Kabam at best approves some of the community's ask or at the very least learns from this and puts out better content in the near future.

Complaints:
-After completing this my only thoughts were that the rewards did not feel like I had completed an Aspirational Everest piece of content. Guess how many rank ups I was able to afford after? 0. You'd think after completing something as difficult as WOF you could take one or two champs up in rank but no, you get most of the materials for a 3-4, but not all.

-I work in a job with quite a bit of customer service, so when I saw the selector fiasco after listening to the livestream it put a horrible taste in my mouth, then for Kabam to not rectify the situation made me feel worthless as a customer. In fact if I didn't have an overflowing amount of revives, I wouldn't have done this content simply because the selector felt like a slap in the face. Either put the two champs missing into the selector, or remove those two defenders.

-This is both a complaint and a critique; I didn't really care for the selection of attackers we were forced to choose from in the sense that tags were maybe a poor route to go. Why? Because out of a selection of maybe 10-15 attackers, only tops 4 were viable/usable... in some cases 1. A much more fun idea (I think) would have been a selection of maybe 5-7 attackers that the developers chose. The one rule I'd give them for choosing said attackers is, "each attacker in that selection must be capable of soloing the defender" (no Adam Warlock for Gorr or Symbiote Supreme for Leader). Why go this route instead of tags? Tags usually make it where only 1-3 are viable attackers so everyone uses those same attackers on any given fight (unless you don't have them, then I guess you don't get to play with the kool kids). I'd like to take someone unique, like for LDS I used IMIW. It feels nice to pull out a champ from the bench that usually you go "why does this champ exist" only to use them in a niche fight and say WOW that champ was amazing! Tags usually rip away that opportunity so you use Juggs for the 14th time that day to solo Gorr. Maybe a bad idea but I'm spitballin here, I'm sure it could be fleshed out more. Plus, now you only need ONE of those viable champs instead of a very specific champ.

What I'd Change:
-You already heard my selected attackers vs tags rant so good idea or bad idea I won't bore you anymore with that.

-Rewards, I'd do something about that selector, goodness gracious.
Quest 1: Change 7* shards to 15,000. Change Titan shards to 20,000 and give a generic 1-2 gem. You just completed a difficult quest but have 2 more to go! Pull those champs you need in the second quest and at least get them to rank 2!
Quest 2: Add a 2-3 class gem. Not much to say since rewards felt alright but didn't have any catalysts/ gems to take up a champ for the 3rd quest.
Quest 3: Do I need to talk about the selector again? Add a Nexus Titan, I shouldn't have to choose between that and the crappy selector. I didn't really care for the fact that I basically got the same rewards as quest 2 and still couldn't rank up anyone.
COMPLETION: Cool profile pic. But with the rewards that were given... that's it?

I know it's a lot but it just felt like this content had SO much potential and instead fell flat on release. I definitely think if rewards were revised it would change everyone's opinion.
But going forward, if Kabam releases another piece of content like this please learn from these mistakes.
