Whats happening with Torchs temperature?

Just seen my torch getting 700+ temperature....has he been changed and ive missed something? Seemed like the incinis were falling off quicker as well but that could just be me

Its not turning orange or red through so incinis arent lasting as long as they should

Something to do with the rock stacks gained from the saga. Sentry also has an issue in the side quest.
