We have an alliance that plays the most half-assed, one BG, no modifier, no items, never explore, sometimes complete form of AQ and only miss radiance by a bit.
Sure, missing radiance stinks, but the low lift required is nice. That tells me there are a lot of allys out there doing even less than we do, which is just a little bit more than nothing.
This is me not trolling. I don't hate aq. It's the most easiest thing in the game with low efforts. 100% truth. Easiest content out there. M Raids rules over aq, that is also true.
It should be one big fight like new aw, everyday and done.
as much as I want to agree...
what would be the difference between new AW and your proposed AQ? only rewards?
Yeah, 10 fight for each teammate, spend 3 mins and done. Also no need of damage boost mechanics or tough nodes, easy nodes with 2mil healthpools - one fight.
Prefer if they just got rid of the game mode entirely. Leave Raids at once per month and call it a day. AQ doesn't get updated. Same fights on the same nodes on the same map 12 times a month. How about making AQ an alliance event with milestones. Play content as an ally, earn points, get rewarded. Tons of ways to improve AQ, but the way it is now, it's just a static version of AW.

I like the idea. Except maybe instead on one defender, it could be 3 per path. Rotating defenders each iteration. Similar to raids but individual paths.
Eh.. I think AQ just is what it is.. not difficult, but feels like a grind.. though I'll take the modern AQ any day over the previous iterations of it.. a few years ago AQ was actually very stressful.. I think this peaked when map 7 was introduced with full mods (the coordination ask was frankly.. insane) lol It was later nerfed, and then after that many QOL changes added
But in the times of pre-nerf map 7 with full mods.. it was super stressful for leadership.. and actually affected member retention and recruiting (I actually took a break from Leadership because it was so stressful) The nodes were all completely linked.. huge struggle for multi time zone groups.. and the links were designed to be all but impossible to break (add 300% attack and hp, plus some niche node like Do You Bleed?.. per link!) Haha if anyone played this version.. I don't have to tell you how awful it was.. if schedules and time zones didn't line up perfectly.. or one player messed up and brought the wrong team or itemed out.. it meant the entire week long cycle for all 30 members of an alliance missed rewards lol.. so stressful 😅😂
I think this is where the Corvus timeout method was born.. and devs eventually realized we restored to this tactic because the content was so punishing if you couldn't completely unlink a boss for one reason or another
That being said, I'd be in favor of scrapping the game mode and redistribute the reward to the other avenues.. however, that won't happen for one reason, there needs to be a reason to chase Prestige in the game?
Oh man! Thats why subconscioisly my heart drops anytime I hear map 7. I remember talking with teammates in Singapore and it used to be 3-4 am for them. All those links and complicated node structure in section 1. Please don't mention map7, it was ridiculus. Probably why I don't hate aq that much. The nodes are less in map8 and all links were dropped.
The energy is a problem I find so frustrating, it’s purposefully delaying so you’re forced to have to jump back into the game. Smart by Kabam but annoying for the players who have lives

I can solo AQ map 8 at 1 shot if I have enough energy to reach the boss from the start
