Why is there no blood in Mcoc?

Was thinking about this topic for a while, I mean the game has guns and knifes and a bleed debuff so why is there no blood in the game? I can’t find any kind of official answer.

There's also a blood field around blade when his opponent is bleeding.

I think it's due to age rating and it also wouldn't match the aesthetics of the game.
I wish they had different voices, I currently play without sound, the noise the champions make has been the same for 10 years.

I find it so much more enjoyable that there isn’t.. younger people can play and just enjoy the experience without gore; young kids can watch their parents play with heroes they like. Would ruin the whole feel for me and I wouldn’t play it anymore.

Two reasons most likely

1) it becomes more kid friendly, opening up their player base.

2) when mcoc first launched, the technology they had back then were not great, they could not handle much. Think of it like dust sandstorm and how it lags the phone, it would have been too much on the processor if they added blood, a feature that isn’t necessary in the first place.

Most people I know play without sound for this reason, but I've always played with it on.. there are so many audio cues for dexing specials that I'd be lost without it at this point if I tried to switch lol.. but the audio cues are nice because you can glance up at timers, etc. more easily as you aren't fully relying on visual cues to dex specials

Because superheroes and supervillains never bleed. They just beat each other up until one gives up because it’s dinner time.

You've already seen what happens with Dust's sand storm... we don't need to see characters bleeding out from damage from like a quarter of the champions.
