How many points will we top out at for realm event?

Just wondering what people’s estimates are, I have done rough calculations and think we will not fall anywhere near the top milestones, just interested to hear other opinions.

Of which we can safely say 50% are not active players, 25% are casually active and 25% are fairly active
My estimation is that we won't be hitting the top milestones, hitting 20 million is already an achievement for the entire playerbase and is quite possible
Just take whatever milestones we can get, don't think so much about hitting every milestones, it just ain't possible
We have the following
1) Battlegrounds
2) Raids
3) Daily super event
4) Valiant gauntlet
5) August meta event special solo objective
6) Saga incursions
7) Alliance war encounter showcase
8) August special quest solo objective
9) Twitch drop
The majority of the methods aren't played by the majority of the playerbase, namely battlegrounds, raids, valiant gauntlet, saga incursions, alliance war encounter showcase
The majority of the playerbase aren't valiants, these methods are mostly played by valiants
That's 1 reason why I think hitting 20 billion is already an achievement
Of the 1 million players, how many are valiants? How many are paragons and below? The logical deduction is that the majority are paragons and below
You can't count on this majority group of players to contribute their fair share of points for this realm event, majority of players are actually casual players, they aren't as hardcore as you might wish
This comes from the fact that I am an alliance leader with almost 30 valiants
Many players just play this game casually, you can't expect every player to contribute their fair share of points
And then once I decided to look into it more, it "seems" like it is aimed at sweats - play BGs, do Raids, etc. There are a few other One-time ways to participate, but by and large it seems to just be additional rewards for people already getting great rewards from BGs/Raids/etc.
At the end of the day, this feels like a "Who is this for?" type of event. Players who can put up lots of points wouldn't necessarily be enticed by the rewards until milestone 40+ (1-5 sig stones? Let's grind for 50+ hours!!!). Players who would benefit a lot from the rewards wouldn't necessarily be able to put up the points.
If I play relatively normally (and our ally doesn’t Raid), I’m looking at approximately enough solo points to walk away with 3-4 7* basics and 30+ 7* sig stones plus over 10K glory (that I constantly struggle to spend) and a bunch of loyalty that I already have millions of (that I also constantly struggle to spend).
That would put us around the mid to high teens (14-18 billion) points.
Those are fine rewards, but nothing I’d toss hours upon hours of my next two months (peak summer where I am) in exchange for—begging the question @altavista asked: who is this for?
No final judgment, but it will be interesting to hear the team’s thought process behind the event once it fully launches.

Likewise, I'm curious what is needed from the average Summoner both to get to the top and to contribute whatever average number of points is needed from us as a community to reach the final milestones. Will we get there if all players reach about 50% of the max points or does a significant percentage of the player base have to complete 100% of them for us to collectively get there?
I do wish Kabam was a little clearer on this.
The event lasts 64 days, currently it's not even 24 hours since it started, and we have already crossed 200mil points, that too when most of the modes which reward these points are not even live.
Plus, note that most players haven't even started getting these points yet (I just did my DSE for today a few hours back);
Plus I'm sure most of active alliance players haven't claimed their first raid chest;
And so on.
So imo if we even get just 200mil every day, we will be able to hit 12billion points by the end of the event
(By we i mean @DNA3000 )
I suppose it depends what the goal of this particular Realm event is. If it’s intended to simply toss some allright goodies on people who already play the game daily and competitively, then it’s probably working as intended.
But if a Realm event is supposed to be something more or is supposed to be part of a lead-in for the big Summoners Fest event in November then maybe not. I don’t know, but I wish there were a little more in the way of introduction and explanation. Maybe that’s coming tomorrow…

Those are the biggest individual points.
BUT. The rest are just for stuff that people would do anyway.
I think it’s very doable to get to 5 billion.
