Heat Wave sales missing rewards

My heatwave sales event rewards are missing and KABAM are insisting I got the rewards without checking if and when I opened the rewards after they were supposed to have been awarded, they didn't check my inventory, they were never in there, all I got was 2 messages advising me of my rank but no rewards attached to it, I asked them to email me a screenshot of when I opened the crystals that were supposed to be included with the rewards, they always ask for screenshots to prove things whenever we make a complaint, but now I'm asking them for proof that there was no glitches in their system and where did my rewards go.
As far as I'm concerned there's only 2 possible explanations.

1) there was a glitch in your system.

2) someone stole my rewards

Has anyone experienced the same problem?

    There were no ranked rewards for heat wave sales. There were a couple of glitchy ingame messages people got by mistake. There were never meant to be any ranked rewards
