@DrZola Yea, I got nothing on communication. The twitch drops is mistake on thier part. That is clear. I'll even assume and say this, since it was not intended, even karate and dork didn't know it can happen. The team who coded the realm event are to be blamed. Not announcing the raids participation is on them.
I got saved by doing the things we do normally. I don't expect anything from kabam. Personally, the free stuff we get for doing what we do is where I stop my train of thoughts. Anything that requires hard grind, I don't anymore. Anything I miss, I shrugg it off. (Except the whale locked tigra, who I'm never gonna get, gonna rant about that one as long as possible.)
“Announced earlier”? You mean “announced at all” lol. There was AND STILL IS no official announcement or breakdown of the event whatsoever. The very second the first week of raids started was when the event dropped unexpectedly. Literally too late to do anything about.
This might be the worst failure of communication of an event ever.
Twitch drop points were not intended. And I don't mind some people getting them What i say in most player benefit bugs is 'Lucky for them' I know it may affect people who are going for rank rewards. But personally I'm just a normal player who don't dwell into what's going in the top dog tiers.
I’m not too pressed about it but I honestly would like a fix and to receive the points bc I watched the stream and claimed the drops. With our raids mistake, it would at least help make up some of those points
My primary beef, however, is the overall poor and scattered communication that seems to have overtaken the team. Players shouldn’t have to cover multiple channels just to figure out what to do in game.
100% Agree - I am still not sure of some of the details regarding the Summoner’s Fest still. I get that a primary reason for the Fest is to encourage people to play Raids but I wish I knew the level of this prior. I could have organized my alliance sooner. Challenges are part of the game and can be exciting to complete especially ones that are designed to build the player community. But vague challenges and scattered communication lead to misinformation, frustration, and eventually apathy. Anyway, I’ll keep a look out for details on the Forums, Discord, Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, my local grocery store’s Bulletin Board, and my neighbor Ethel’s Pinterest Page. Cheers!
It is if you want to get to the highest milestones, are people supposed to go spend hundreds on units now because of Kabam's mistakes? Lmfao let's reward Kabam for **** up, your comments really never cease to amaze me GW.
You think it's my responsibility to reward Kabam? Is it yours? I don't think anyone is rewarding anything. Getting all the Milestones isn't absolutely essential. It's also daunting. So people are free to try for it if they want, but what I said is they're not likely trying to encourage everyone to go all-out. The OP is reacting as if it's some massive lack of communication, and that's not at all the case.
Did they fire the guy who used to make the announcements and charts like this with all the scoring info before the event started? That's an example chart; but I haven't seen those in a long time.
Although it’s frustrating, there’s a very easy way to get all the rewards even though you missed raids this week. First, find an alliance that’s doing raids the next three weeks. Second, go through saga incursions one extra time to get the points you missed out on the first week of raids. You’ll be back to where everyone else is and not miss any rewards.

As much as I agree with you, finding an alliance after war season starts, after BG starts, after raids started is not optimal. It also puts people who worked on putting together an alliance in a pretty crappy situation of losing people left and right. Realm events should be based on players not groups of 30 people.

You can’t get extra points from going thru incursions more than once.

I keep seeing this but it’s erroneous: there’s no repeat run through #Saga incursions to get more points. You have only one run. One. Uno.
If you could run Incursions infinitely I can assure you there would be folks taking copious amounts of stims to run it as many times as possible the next two months.
For a community event it seems at this point geared for only "part of" the community, not the community as a whole. That is disappointing, but hoping eventually more information which will prove this comment wrong.
I don't even play this game anymore and I'm still frustrated by such poor effort from Kabam. How is every single piece of content bugged with a single update? Why is it so hard to communicate such important info earlier or at all? I'm so disgusted that I don't think I'll check forums as regularly as I used to anymore, its just draining to see all those players with good will getting their hopes and expectations crushed every single time. Why is it so hard to respect your playerbase? Why are you abusing the loyalty of all these people with your ignorant decisions? So glad that I quit this game a while ago and I've no regrets whatsoever. I'd advise anyone as frustrated to reconsider their decisions and find a better use of time than complaining here. It obviously doesn't work, it never did. Even huge companies like Riot revert changes and regret decisions from time to time, Kabam never do.
This can't go on for longer with this attitude and I doubt it will. Dedicated players are being taken advantage of and its not ok.

We are tired of it all.
