Kabam should remove the points from the unit packages because it is just extremely unfair to other players who don't spend any money and would like to reach place 1 or 2-10 on the event leaderboard or something like that and they should generally not offer points for purchase and everyone who has bought points gets their money back and the points are deducted from them again!

Points in the unit purchases is fine. Points only in the unit purchases is not fine. For a mode revolving entirely around playing the game, ranked rewards should be competitive through playing the game, not just spending money.

Unless I’m mistaken, there are still open questions re: what exactly has to be done to get the mythical 300K points referenced by the team.

The community may have figured it out themselves, but that shouldn’t be how things like this get sorted.

You will definitely be able to earn points through the new mode, but that's not what buddy is about, it's about the fact that Kabam shouldn't offer points for sale in any form. You should only be able to get points by earning them, otherwise it's unfair to other players.

Everyone has the opportunity to purchase points, it is not unfair. If we don’t purchase them that is fine and our decision but we are not disadvantaged by unfairness. We may not agree with monetizing everything that Kabam has lately, but we’re just living in their world.

Kabam has said that 300,000 points are available from playing

There are only 223,825 points from what I calculated

There are 2 sources of points available in August in unknown quantities that should mathematically add up to 300,000 points

Did you account for 5 raids events?

Yes

There are 12,000 points per nightmare raids (2,000 X 3) + 6,000

4 raids this month, 1 raids next month

That's 60,000 points out of 300,000 points

Unable to clear the final boss is a huge demerit for any player
