This made me rage quit incursions

This might be the most cursed hack in incursions, heed my warning and never take this sh*t.

I didn't consider the implications when I picked it up, but holyyyy 5 secs is an eternity. It doesn't sound too bad but you gotta back off hitting them midway through the stun so you don't push them red into sp3. At that point you're just staring at the screen waiting for the stun to go away. AND THIS HAPPENS AFTER EVERY SPECIAL. It ruins the whole flow of the fight when you have to stop playing every few seconds. Oh brother.

Don't even get me started on how the very next room had a boss with the node 'one eye open' (the one where all dmg dealt during stun is reflected back to the attacker). I spent that fight contemplating my life and existence after every special attack cuz I couldn't hit them and had to stare at the screen for 5 secs AFTER EACH SPECIAL.

I'm not about that life, I'd rather quit at room 10 than continue this for 5 more rooms. I'd rather start all over again. And so I did. Lesson learned.

Also, the only reason I took it was because I saw the words Armor Up, which in my head would synergize with the Armor burst dmg hack I picked up earlier. Turns out it did synergize, not in the way that I fully considered.

Maybe if you build around it, but I took it later down the line and it ruined my entire build lmao.

I picked this and did face the same issue, but once i got the right rhythm it was helpful

I was using Spider woman, and another hack which gives you power gain when getting furies. So i'd just drop two or sometimes 3 sp1s back to back during the stun, and the opponent goes about 2.5 bars and dies of power sting.

You want to be using someone like Skull, Omega S or OGIM. With a lot of armors you can just keep it going (unless you catch one eye open or one of those annoying debuff immunity after you knock em down nodes).

They changed how this hack works

the previous version used to be able to stun on basics as long as you had armor up and the duration decreased each time stun was inflicted ( I used to fear only the one eye open and the 75% reduced damage when opponent is above 2 bars with this version ) and with this hack and herc + buff cornucopia + armor on basics was my go to for few zone 25 runs with stun lock

now this isn’t as useful over something like second chance or regen on special hits so I don’t use it

Yep the new defensive cascade was not fun. It was occasionally useful if you had the damage to kill the defender within the stun, but if you didn't you would be cooked. Since you have to wait it out you have to lose your buffs and get cramped by the nodes.

Those hack actually is a cheat code for me. Along with second life and attribute multiplier. No need to worry about the sp3 for there is 2nd life hacks. But thats me
